Oh dear---Bidville must really want to have a classy image to the online auction community. The members asked for some fresh/holiday themed smilies to spice up the posts, and they added lots more; smiles, angles and the like... AND....
Smiles that are:
*puking
*drinking beer(maybe that should be listed the other way around??!)
*shooting off guns
and.....
SHOWING OFF THEIR BACKSIDES ("mooning"
I guess I shouldn't be too shocked, but as a long time, successful seller there (who has recently pulled off all active auctions due to unprofessional posts and offensive language and conduct on the boards) I guess I shouldn't be.

Bryan must be giving them what they can relate to. Look for the next round of smilies to include various sexual positions icons, a shill bidder icon, a scam artist icon, a vodka drinking icon, a can of [[[RAID]]] icon, and various KKK symbols.

Here's a free tip:
If you are a member of BiddyVille, verified or not, and if you like being a member, don't call these new icons sleazy, perverted, or any other term like that. Old Steady Eddie and Bryan the Braindead will consider that a personal insult and you will be forever banished from the venue. That's what happened to me when I called His porn pop-ups a sleazy way to generate funds for the site.

I hear ya! That's the next on the list. Have emailed my concerns to BV CS about these a couple of hours ago...surprised...no reply...(when I wanted to run a Red Cross auction beginning 6 hours after the 9/11 event, they were back to me within MINUTES..esp when I said there would be local newspaper coverage of the event, which there was!) so I emailed again.
Cuff is reading these messages and replying the boards...folks are emailing me privately and telling me THEIR ideas/plans for the icons and Bidville... but they are all smart, they won't POST and make KNOWN their plans. Guess I'm not that smart (if you'd ask one of the trolls at Bidville---yes...you, you know who you are, you are READING this). I'm offended, and think that Bidville has made a HUGE professional error with the additional of these "harmless little icons" as I'm sure they'll claim them to be.

There are sites all over the net with pages of smilies for the taking.
No one site has a lock on the smilies. They've been around forever.

As you are kind enough to show, I did change the NON-AUCTION, which was pointed out earlier, to a LIVE auction, because a bidder of mine on another site can bid and close it....
It has been a custom-order NON-auction for almost a month now, as you well know before, JB.
Yeah, from 70-60 items to one that went to a $25.00 auction (single custom made quilted wallhanging if you folks who are reading this would like to see it!!! Plug, plug!) which was asked to be reworded so it can close tomorrow when the person will bid on it!
Look at the items sold...long history and I DARE you to read the overwhelmingly KIND email and words of "Suzi_teacups is the reason I am AT BV" type comments, then come back and try to further make a horse's-behind, JB.

Suzi, I saw them and I wasn't any too thrilled about them, either.
Most of them are great but there are others that are in really poor taste.
JB, why such an venomous attack on Suzi? That was completely uncalled for.

I truly think the whole smiley scenerio is quite "PETTY". As far as J.B. attacking Suzi. This stew has been boiling for awhile. So nothing shocks me between those two.

Well wally:
Here is how I look at it.
It all started back just after you quit the sale thing's.
Hap ask for me to help out I said yes I am hosting a page on my site with everyones ID's on it, then suzzzie comealong with a new craft sale... I emailed her letting her know I had the page all set up if she wanted to use it..... I don't keep emails so can't C/P what she said back to me.After Her sale was over Hap's sale sportmania -- was still being worked on and I done up a post.... Of course Suzzzie had to stick her big nose into it....and by then I have all ready had My fill of her crap so went off on her.
Time goes on and our paths cross again and again getting me upset by the way she keep asking for me to do this or to do that when she all along knew it was not my deal to do it Hap was in charge.......Then to top it off she keeps asking stupid questions and then tryes to make Kodi mad at me with the banner's she suppplyed for Hap's sale saying I stole it.....when everyone told her that it was sent to me.....Kodi even tryed to explane it to her and get it thru her thick head.
for the past few months I have publicly appoliges to her but that is not or was not good enough for her she email's me with what to post and I refuse to do it.

suzi_teacups has a "big nose", seems to be full of "crap", asks "stupid questions", tries "to make Kodi mad at" barncards1, and has a "thick head".
barncards1 doesn't keep emails, gets upset, and has made his "LAST POST HERE".
I wonder if there will be yet another public apology.

SUZI...so sorry to see that you have become the latest target of the inmates.
I know that you have been very helpful to the site and to many individuals on the site. Perhaps now you will better understand the utter disgust that many of us feel towards SOME of the folks over there. The latest "site improvement" is indicative of Administration's willingness to cater to this kind of mentality and is (or SHOULD be) an embarrasement to the decent people who are still stuggling to build sales.
