Just listed at bidbay and love the way it has up to 9 pictures icons you can use for each auction if you want to- I have webtv and it sure made my day--it was so easy and I love the form to use too---Now to see if the traffic is there---I sure hope so because it was so easy to list---Not having a computer and having webtv --some auctions I cannot put pictures on and then some you have to cut and paste= So I was very happy today---Looks like a very nice site and hope to build up my feedback's there like I have on other auction sites----

Hello Beyerk,

I've seen bidbay grow. In one year second to ebay as confirmed by top9.com. I think that once they have capital after their IPO they could lead the way through national advertising, and ofcourse, all sellers will benefit as well as buyers with more items to view.

top9.com's numbers are only derived from the amount of unique vistors a site gets in a month. They have nothing to do with listings or anything like that.

With that said, BidBay does have a lot of the "junk" items that other sites don't want. Personally, I would rather put an item on a different free site and let it sit for six months in the hopes that I get one bid on it then to put it on BidBay for BidBay Bucks. Why is it necessary for them to have a BidBay Bucks category, or a $1 or less category? Also, I have found (from personal searching) that a lot of their numbers are misleading.

Maybe this IPO will make them a better company.

Fullofknowledge .. better make that IF they have capital after their IPO .. did you read the financal statements and addendums? Their losses are huge. All IPO revenues will go directly into their operating funds, not into escrow. Looks like a pretty poor investment to me ... not that I know a lot about stocks. But I DO know how to read finanacial statements!

Hi Joice!

Okay, logged you out hon .. that's the second time I've done that!

I'll assume that LOL above belongs after the 'married to each other' and not after the 'very happily' part.

Third computer and DSL I think! But where would we move this old one for you when we put my new one here?

Back to bed for me .. I neeeeeeed chicken noodle soup! Whiiiiiine! Ummm .. if you see this when you get back from running 'kidlet' around? I still think a loud bell with a string running up to the bedroom would be a good idea. I don't understand why you don't agree!

I have also been with BidBay for quite awhile. I have had excellent results over the past year with my sales. When I first started I was in the computer/hardware line and sold on a weekly basis. I am now into coins and have been doing very well, especially since it's a hobby of mine and I sell to help support it. As far as the BidBayBucks go I think it is unique in that it helps others who cannot afford to pay cash buy with the BBB'S. I know I have put up several items over the holidays just so some folks could get their kids some items that otherwise they would not have received. A lot of the BidBayer's do the same thing and well, it's kind of nice to be able to help out. I have tried BidVille and have sold one or two coins at cost just to see how things would go. I had several of my friends join under me then for some unknown reason had one of them deleted from my account. I am not real happy with BidVille as unlike others, I can not get them to answer any questions; especially about the missing friend. Anyway, just wanted to say hi, and invite you all over to watch BidBay grow

Have a super evening,
Capt Ron

Hi Newbie!
Here is what started all the action today. Taken from another AW thread so I think it is legal.

Quite interesting
