Well the sell thru rate at bidville is very low so the seller may not check his emails, or auctions everyday. I would wait a few more days. Many sellers are warehousing their items there waiting for a buyer to drop by.

Many bussiness people that travel a lot seem to get into online auction selling and they do not check their email everyday. Also some sellers open up small auction site accounts with email addresses that are not their regular ones and forget about that fact after a few months pass without a sell. You can open a BV acount with a regular ISP then change it to a hotmail account too.

I realize that bidville is not ebay but the sell thru rate is no comparison. Is this because bidville is just not as well known?

Just dropping in to report that Bidville is alive and well and the March Maddness Sale is going great.
I suggest that if you have not heard from a Seller, that you attempt to contact them in the "Community". Many sellers post there when they will be "out of touch" for an extended period. Perhaps your "missing seller" is just temporarily unreachable.

Technerd, you did pay your $5 dues didn't you? You'll need to do that before you can post on the message boards.

technerd,
I don't care which auction site the seller is selling at. If they don't have their e-mail set up for a particular auction site or use seperate e-mail addresses for each different site, then I say move on. This person needs to at least have the courtesy of responding to an e-mail. Now I do understand that bidville is a parking lot for junk auctions and many sellers including myself rarely look at the site unless they get a sale. All I know is bidville does send out an end of auction e-mail to the seller so they will know. If they don't respond, then you will be safer keeping your money and finding the next item up for bids.
Good luck,
bp
