It only took 7 years, but we've got over 400,000 antiques and collectibles for sale online now.

For those of you that are not familiar with TIAS, it's a fixed price venue, not an auction. The site serves about 100,000 unique customers a day.

Most TIAS sellers are merchants that have built stores on our system, but about 2 months ago we launched a new system called the TIAS Exchange, which allows sellers to list without building out an entire store. For more info on the Exchange, take a look at http://www.tias.com/stores/tiasexchange/ads/boywithvase.html

People using the Exchange to sell items or promote their Web site are reporting really good results. Exchange ads run for a month and because of the unique way we promote them, we get a lot of buyers looking at them.

If you are looking for a place that will get your antique and collectible merchandise infront of buyers, the new TIAS exchange might be what you've been looking for.

Please give it a try at: http://www.tias.com/stores/tiasexchange [ edited by erthlng on Mar 18, 2002 11:13 PM ]

Hi!

Was curious how well sports memorabilia does on your site. I've took a quick glance at it and it appears its more antiques-driven.

Thanks!

Actually we have a large number of sports related collectibles as well. Take a look at http://cgi.tias.com/showcase/browse.fcgi?in=Sports If you scroll down the left column, you will see quite a few more sports related subcategories.

The site is very much like eBay in regard to the different categories of antiques and collectibles that are listed. I don't have access to category specific sales, but from the # of listings merchants are posting, it appears that the sport related category is doing well.

Hope this helps.
Phil
