I assure you I'm not there any more than Eddydoc was there several months ago. I'm flattered that I was imitated. Too bad it is on such a low traffic site.

Then why are you here at AW, it has far less traffic on the OOA than over at OTWA?
Oh, wait you would rather be a big fish in a little pond. LOL!
Gosh, the laughs just keep on coming here at AW. Such great content!

I didn't think it was you. The only post by "bidsbids" is a copy/paste of your post about the BV seller you 'like'.

I love this dead little area of the near-dead AW in general. Reminds me of comic Pat Paulsen buying a little town in Southern California ( gas station & a general store made up most of the town ). I know there are a lot of lurkers too.
OTWA is the 'Big City' and AW is a small town and Moo is Hootervile on Green Acres.

Don't you just love the paranoia. I've been called Rookie-Man & Dimview and now Bidview.com is being called Dimview too. Do they think Dimview would run 649 auctions and gathered a very high feedback just to mess with Bidville on its message boards? The reason they accuse Bidville.com of being Dim is because he isn't a cheerleader and wants change in a static BV. Rookie-Man got the same treatment when he tried to change the status-quo. If anyone at BV speaks against the 30 day listing option they are sure to hear from Hap as that is his baby.

Relax bidsbids, I don't think anyone thought it was you. I figured if you ever got p*ssed off enough to join Mootropolis you'd do more than copy/paste a post you already made here.
There is more wrong with said user than you are assuming, or did you miss his nasty comments about Beach's daughter? Very sketer-esque, don't you think?

The restless natives at the moo are so bored talking to themselves they invent people hoping things pick up. I find this very sad indeed, and if the moderators approve of this it gives a very negative image. Some claim its slow here, but then there is no constant bickering, trolling, or making up fake user id's from other venues hoping to bait them over.

I don't know if it is you, but whoever it is is obviously a lowlife. If it isn't you, I would recommend that you contact mootropolis and inform them that someone is impersonating you and attempting to discredit you.

I could care less that someone is impersonating me at Moo. Have fun with it.
I've read several of the BV user poster named Bidville.com posts over the past few weeks and he seems like an immature young adult that sells sports cards and does not like people disagreeing with him. The immaturity does remind me of Sketer. I hate to admit it but when I first saw the photo of Beach's daughter those very thoughts crossed my mind. It's one thing to think it but quite another to say it to the person. It is also a bit foolish to post photos of family members as God only knows how many weirdos are out there in Cyberspace waiting to latch onto something and follow through with it.

bidsbids, there is a lot of useful information at Mootropolis..that is if one can avoid the pitfalls of the personal issues in some threads
If we suggest a new forum or link to Patty she listens. Who is listening at AW?

What exactly is it that you don’t like about the MOO??
You have said it’s the lack of content, that’s a crock and you know it.
Is it because the MOO has become a more popular forum site than this almost dead forum here at AW and that bites your butt or what?

The site is an awful collection of ebay links. I give it a 1 on a 1-10 scale.
No one thinks you own or work for Moodropolist, just that you list there.
Thanx for the waste of time.

Though, funny that people can't be open-minded to alternatives and MORE than just one site.
YourDesigns, that is an assumption made by you. I was open-minded enough to take a look and I do go to more sites than AW. I don't like the kiddy city look to the Moo site, I don't like all the cow stuff including the cartoon giraffe and I don't care for moderators. Just the thought of being moderated by someone called cowpaddy makes me smile.
But even though I don't care for it I know that others may love it and I wish everyone good luck with it and I hope they do well

Mootropolis.com will go nowhere. Other than the "Fraud Assistance Center" there is no unique content.
* Auction Industry News is all links to content outside of mootropolis
* Marketplace is just a bunch of ads for sellers, again outside of mootrpolis
* Links section again, no content, just a bunch of links
* Community Forum has user "content" but this section has no PageRank on Google or has not been indexed.
Its a worthless site anyone with a little CGI/scripting knowledge could put together. I'm sorry to say my web store's home page has better ranking on Google than Mootropolis. If you want people to visit get some real content on there instead of using cheap "content" tricks like forum boards and links. Jhoward, get to work!

Bidsbids:
Moo was started with the intent of a message board, what is wrong with that? Why does it have to have more? There are lots of discussion communities with a lot less "extras" all over the internet. MANY with thousands of members. Moo is expanding and considering cgi is the NORM for sites, how is that bad?
I am beginning to think people want places to offer paid services in order to be considered "good".
As for the cgi programming the vast majority of the internet sites use cgi scripting. From ebay to OTWA's message board. Just because some companies paid thousands for a message board doesn't make the software any better. OTWA board, IMO, sucks. Yet you can license the InfoPop for about 10k. 10k too much. There are even smaller licenses.
You cite other boards and the MAJORITY all use cgi scripting that was very low cost. How does AuctionCrotch have better content? It doesn't, and membership at the Moo is now TWICE as many (even more with the mass exodus of new management). Though AuctionCrotch is not a very good example since the place is just plain nasty and now even uglier due to recent color changes. Hard to read the board now.
The Online Auction Biz is just a collection of links. OAUA board is dead and has less listings than almost any board out there.
I think you just like putting down Mootropolis.com because you have some vain hope of AW discussion boards coming back. Tisn't gonna happen. This board consists of a few posts per day MAYBE. Even then the last few weeks it's all been about the Moo.
Ah, the irony of it all.

I'm amazed that AW and its message boards have hung on as long as it has.
The Moo is mostly 'National Inquirer' type stuff that I have no interest in. The news stands sell a lot of that type of publication and a lot of Time Magazine type publications too. Users must choose which type they prefer.
The slower the 'Other Auctions' forum at AW the better I like it. It's dying but it's peaceful here in the Mayberry of the Internet.

blairwitch ... just in case you haven't been paying attention, virtually *all* of the animosity over there is started by dimville. That is her intent and always has been. I do notice though that she is starting to get a little less attention ... hence my "jumped the shark" comment.
Soon, she will have no one left to argue with or rile up except herself, and that will be a glorious day indeed for all the folks who really want to discuss Bidville
