Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know that utrove.com has officially opened its doors! We are a new online auction site and I wanted to get your opinions and ideas from you. We have no listing or end of sale fees and there is no fee to set a reserve price on your item! Plus, you can relist it as many times as you want without any additional fees! (We have an option to relist your item until it sells) So please take the time to check us out and tell us what you think. We are small now but in time, I believe that we will be one of the best auction sites out there!

Sincerely,
Keith Schuster

Hi Keith,
One question. Where is your revenue coming from then? We all like the idea of free, but also realize that no sites can go for long with out some kind of revenue. I will let you respond.
Thanks

Good point stonecold. We do charge fees for having a featured item or bold faced or an atention grabber. Things like that. We believe that you do not have to pay an arm and a leg to sell a simple item. Thanks for your input and let me know what you think of the site!

Thanks,
Keith

Keith,

Could you provide the URL to your User Agreement and Privacy Policy?

I couldn't find a link on the site.

I like to know how my information is handled before signing up anywhere.

I also wanted to find out what a preferred member is, but there is no information when clicking on this link:

What is a Preferred Member?

Toollady:
Thank you for your interest in utrove.com. Here is a link to our terms of use: http://www.utrove.com/cgi-bin/ua/help.pl?template=terms A preferred member is someone who has proven that they can pay their bill on time. Right now when you sign up you get a $100.00 limit on a balance you can have with us. Regular posting is free to do but there are some fees for things like featured items and things of that nature. Once you have made 3 on time payments, you will then be upgraded to preferred member status and your credit limit will be increased. I hope this answers your questions. Please feel free to let me know if you need anything else.

Tomwiii:
We opened our doors so that great people like you would be able to utilize our free auction services!

Keith
