Valued Members,

Bidville will be hosting a `Spring Fling` sale from April 5th thru April 15th. To get your items in the sale, place the phrase "$SF" in your auction titles. This will also get you on the "Spring Fling Sellers List" with links to all your auctions.

A general announcement will be sent to all members over the next few days.

Thanks for continuing to grow with us.

Bryan

Holly Cow,
I better hurry and get my items listed. A spring Fling. Oh wait, nothing will sell at Bidville anyway. No sense in wasting my time there.

From what I've read here you seem to have trouble selling everywhere you've tried. You may need to make some changes to be successful. Theres alot more competition these days.

I sell at Bidville. My opinion is much different than yours. I feel that it's a very good site, especially since there's no listing or FVF.

Spring Fling starts soon!

I will be posting stats on opening day, the middle day, and ending day of the sale. The current sale bidrate is 2.1% which is much smaller than the yahoo showcases which run around 45%-50%, but with the overall site STR at 0.5% bidville can use all the help it can get. Now besides the email to bidville users, how much off site advertising is being done for the sale?

You'll have to email bidville customer service with your question blairwitch. Even if I knew I wouldn't tell you

I'll take that as zero. Thanks for answering the question.

Just because you said I answered doesn't make it so. I suggested you ask customer service. I'd appreciate it if you'd stick to twisting the numbers and leave my comments alone. The nature of the beast is always apparent.

I agree with BW on this one. Zero outside adds = Zero new comers = no bids.

And yes I sell very well at Ebay and Yahoo. I just got suckered when Yahoo started listing fees into wasting my time with loserville (bidville) and a few other loser sites as well. I have learned my lesson and I have no problem letting the world no not to waste their time at loser sites. If I can stop only one person from wasting their time at bidville, then I have done that person a major favor.

Bidville is seen frequently in searches on google and froogle, and I think theres a banner ad at mootropolis, but you know all of this.

Bidville gets new buyers every day according to many sellers who do not have personal issues with the site. Bidville doesn't charge listing or FVF fee's. Most members put some elbow grease into it and do pretty well at bidville. It really just depends on how lazy you are or aren't, and how much you expect for nothing.

Small sites offer an alternative to ebay and yahoo. There's nothing wrong with that. Bidville happens to be one of the better small sites out there. I'd recommend bidville to anyone.
