From what I'm reading here Half.com is half-baked. I don't think so. They are giving us "shops" our own *free* shops and sending us newsletter email.
Now maybe in the future they will charge us for the Shop, but right now it's free and I love that they're communicating with us.

The said by the third quater of 2004 so that's just a tad shy of a year. It makes you wonder why they are still developing changes at Half such as the new free stores and the recent change in inventory management.

I've never doubted that ebay was not merely going to let all of those millions of Half items go away without a thought.
I figure they have a plan. I'm just curious as to what that plan is.

Half.com is very valuable to ebay, as it provides ebays only direct competition with amazon used books and it is a huge market. I sell books, and my sales are split 50/50 between ebay and half.com. If half.com changed too much I would jump over to Amazon right quick. Ebay may make the name half.com disappear, but the functionality will remain.
