This is a strange twist, thought carnaby people had given up with that no response to the members they upset so many, and that toy thing not working out.

Some are going to get thier best items together or make big groups of the little stuff into a listing and probably move to Ioffer.com so much more traffic and better features.

With free listing they are just about the only alternative there is according to some sellers,in fact they can leave thier items there and list at ioffer too if they want.

this will grow ioffer even more, the final fee will keep the site from being deluged with the really small items & recipes etc though. Same as when yahoo started charging even though not much so many were angry they left and Yahoo has never recovered.

interesting to watch this one,i am not familar with bidville but i do know some sellers moving to ioffer but they are limiting to their more expensive items.

It should help ioffer but the BV sellers will probably give the new BV management a while to show proof of actual advertising.

If BV charges a 5% FVF it will still be cheaper than ioffer on most items. Since it's BV sellers selling to each other mostly anyway look for a lot of side deals to happen on the site.

And where did this information come from?

I've been talking to several regular BVers as of late and I haven't heard mention of any move to ioffer.

In fact, if anything, they'll move over to a recently opened site one of the BVers started - AuctionsAnonymous, at least that is the impression I got.

There's several auction sites started have been started by BV sellers, JB ( TopNotch ), Kodi, and Haley & Friends Acronym or whatever that site is called. None of those seem to put any kind of a dent in BV.

Let's help them out at the new auction with a link :

The only reason I can see any BVer going to IO is if there is a minimum transaction fee of some sort such as a 5% FVF or 20 cents minimum type of thing.

As usual, bids is speaking from the wrong end of his body again.

You have to be big enough to be dented to get dented. None of the for mentioned sites can even hold a pin needle to ebay or yahoo for quality of items and sell through rates.

Both of you guys are in northern california. The three of us have had some words with each other, I mean Stonecold, you've said some things that I know you wouldn't say to me in person. Most recently the two have just been going at it. Why not just hash it out like men. "Stonecold" that's a pretty tough name and "Ace" doesn't that mean number 1. Live up to your names let see what you are made of. Are you stone? or Jello? I think you're both Jello.

There's always room for Jello.

I went to that AuctionAnonoymous site. Interesting. They didn't really have anything listed I would be interested in, but it reminds of the little engine that could. lol. I wish them well. maybe one day when I get time I will look into listing there.

Many online auction sellers take the plunge and set up their own auction site. They can choose freeware auction software from sites like download.com to buy it auction software of various price ranges.
I think an online store is better but an auction site lets friends set up a quasi-store together so the store becomes a mini-mall.
The best part is that they are trying and avoiding ebay fees.
