Does anyone else find the Ioffer format that allows sellers to accept offers confusing? I find it difficult what the buyer is offering and how to respond. Any thoughts?

I absolutely hate it. Even after about 30 transactions on ioffer I still have a lot of trouble with it.
I get many offers that are for the amount I asked for but they forget the s/h costs. If they had hit the Buy It Now it would have had the s/h cost factored in and they deal would be over but instead it's a bunch of more confusing paperwork.
I also get a lot of very annoying offers for 10% of the asking price. The same bidders have a fun time on ioffer. There is no block bidder function on ioffer to foil them. If you delete the offer it still stays as an offer on your selling info page for 60 days making it a very confusing situation. I use to just end the damn offer and relist it to clear the page but the annoying bidders come right back to it.
Ebay stores is suppose to be adding free shopping carts so the gap is closing somewhat feature-wise between ioffer and ebay stores. Ebay is finally starting to place more links to an ebay seller's store as I saw a new link on my ebay feedback page today ( plus the red store tag link also on the same page ). An OTWA thread spoke of ebay store sellers getting ebay phone surveys ( real people asking ebay store questions for half an hour ) so maybe ebay is going to try to promote the stores a bit more. The Half closure/merger is fast approaching so improving the ebay stores may be an ebay priority.

I've been selling a little on this site.
Enough to keep me interested.
Now it won't let me relist.
It wants me to change everything not just the price!
If I do that I won't be selling what I'm selling, I'll be selling something else!
So it appears I won't be listing much there anymore.

I sell a few items there. The mandatory alteration of listings after two relists is a royal and unnecessary pain. What I do is use the spacebar to insert a blank space somewhere in the title and go through the two update steps. Takes about 30 seconds per auction.
If the item received only two pageviews in 60 days why have a mandatory revision? The stupidest online auction move posssible in my opinion.

Almost 20% growth in about a month. Must not be "The stupidest online auction move posssible". If you notice the numbers, some are up and some are down that means that items are moving and are fresh not like some other sites with unlimited relist, same stale crap that was there for the last 2 years. I met with these guys and one thing is for sure they aren't stupid. They just re-did their pages and they told me within a month all of their items will be crawled and indexed. These other sites are the stupid ones that can't make their items crawlable. Here is a basic test to see if the items are showing up on the search engines.
AuctionDunce take a look at this
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=newark+yearbook+for+sale
that is you isn't it? So if someone is looking for that very valuable and in demand piece of merchandise they'll be able to find it. A couple threads back you were telling everyone what a great business selling yearbooks could be. Are you raking in the big bucks yet? When I spoke to the guys at ioffer I asked them about you they said people send them your posts all the time. They told me they spoke to you on the phone and described you as a complete "doofus". They get a big chuckle out of your posts. I guess you've attained somekind of fame, you're known to the world as "auctiondoofus", that's your new name. I'm still a bit intrigued about your source for yearbooks. I pegging you as a school janitor, let me know if I'm right.

As you can see stone's opinion is so weak and lame that it has to try to insult by calling people names. Another case of children playing on the internet unsupervised.

All I ever see on the ioffer boards are Old Hags fighting about to many nudies on the site.
ioffer also seems to be kicking users off the site left are right for saying things that the owners do not seem to like. (visions of what e-bay was and is still doing)
Yes they seem to many many listing over there but are the users really getting sales!!!

Hey!! I am one of those old ladies on iOffer!! I represent that remark!!LOL!!
You know, every community has a full gambit of kinds of people and opinions--just like any family!
My shop is in it's 2nd incarnation there and it is my 4th try at selling on iOffer.I sell slooooooowly but steadily. BTW--Books do just fine for me and eWanted has a few hundred book wants that you can check! Some are not that rare! ALERTS can even put those wants in your daily email if you want! You pick the categories!
The buying system --first time may be confusing. They added a message board so you know where you are in the negotiations by them prompting buyer or seller for an answer.OR ASK on the Community forums--someone is usually there to help out newbys!
And if you go to the iOffer.com home page-click on the yellow banner and see what the Holiday Open House Sales are.Good through Dec 20th! Search for the letters HOH and find 2000+ stocking stuffers under $10.Best thing--we are making sales from this promotion!!!
I have looked for an alternative to feePay.I stil sell there. We are not selling up a storm on iOffer. In ways we live on the promise seen in the upgrades. No other site is as dynamic or listens to it's users like iOffer. No self-built web site of your own offers as much for free. No site, including feePay, is giving you instant selling like in the old days! But those of us establishing ourselves now with buyers--will certainly have an edge when iOffer does take off! And it will.--JMHO.
BTW--not a "paid political announcement"--just someone who has seen fun and excitement and the old customer interaction that feepay has lost put back into a site. Add a few sales and worth the time for 60 day listings before relisting and all free unless you sell!

AuctionDOOFUS by now you should realize that anything goes in life. Can't handle being ostracized, then don't make idiotic statements with no factual basis behind them. Simply state what you have to say. If you have a valid point than it will speak for it's self. You couldn't stand by your comments and had to run like a couple of school girls and have your comments removed. AuctionDOOFUS if your going to jump on a soapbox and make comments make sure you check your facts and be prepared to be hit with a rotten tomatoe if your wrong. Can't handle that than keep your comments to your self. How's my tough little marine doing? Huh, jackyboy, you missed me? Jackboy you miss uncle scout playing with you? Explaining all the big words to you. I'll play with you if you want but you have to promise you won't get all mad and upset if you start losing and run away like last time. That's what little soldiers do.

Well Jockswebb if you must know the last uniform I donned was a cub scout outfit and I reached the high rank of bobcat badge. I know AuctionDOOFUS the thought of a young me in my cub scout outfit is turning you on, but try and contain yourself. Hey DOOFUS that reminds me did you get a hold of that game you were looking for http://www.ewanted.com/w/37357 I don't see you posting that often so I assume you found it somewhere and are tied up with your roommate/friend playing it into the wee hours of the night. Don't play with it too much you might go blind. Like always, It's been a pleasure chatting with you knuckleheads.
PS Jackyboy I have out my official super secret soldier decoder kit and I simply can't make heads or tails of your coded message
