This unfortunetly is a no brainer. Ebay is the only place that has sales. Yahoo does Ok, but won't keep the business afloat. Bidville sucks.

3000+ books taken out of half....
tried abe - can't afford and too involved
amazon - tried = no go
ebay store = selling but listing expensive
bidville = forget it
have other store =sales slow
vendio store - lots listed but sales slow

In our last announcement earlier this summer, we said that Half.com would be closing on October 14, 2004. We have decided not to go forward with this plan and will keep Half.com open indefinitely.

What is the massive hard-on you have about sports cards stonecold? I don't understand why someone wants to sell something for 5 cents either, but what's it to you? The comments that that "crap" clutters up the site so that nobody can find anything else is, well, stupid. A person either browses a category or enters a search word(s).

I don't deal in books at all, BUT, I purchase a great many books, and predominately on Half.com. I almost panicked when I saw the Subject Thread, that Half.com was going to close.
I seldom buy books on eBay, but do on Amazon and Books A Million (for new books).
I LOVE Half.com! If Half.com closed, where oh where would I go for my casual reading FIX??????????
