I located this information on a post dated on June 7th, 2000.

Now he was referring to the early days when the the site was just beginning and he did a number of things to increase interest in the site including...

"I spammed the site with four hundred listings in every category; and many more"

Now if someone would do that in the beginning to garner interest in his website what would they do when they are $3 mil in the hole and earned only $17,000.00 in revenue.

Makes you question those numbers on the front page once again. Doesn't it?

I have gone through at least 1 ink cartridge and will need to get a second one probably by Monday.

I wonder what their favorite flavor of koolaid is over there?

If you want a copy of the link to that post email me at:

This guy has no shame. That's pretty much the bottom line. He's in for a rude awakening if/when his IPO ever makes it public.

I'm sorry if you feel that way mrfanini.

I think my statements speak for themselves.

It really does bring the question of integrity to the issue of the front page numbers on that website.

Spam your own site??? What are you talking about? Spam is unsolicited email! He pumped the numbers early on by listing his own auctions. Say it like it is.

I have to agree with that point. There are many examples of how this guy is off the wall, but I think that this was simply a bad choice of words on the ceo's part. Many auction sites start out by listing hundreds of items in the begining just to get the ball rolling.

AG2, most of the things that you post I agree with 100%. You started out posting facts and those facts were undisputable.

Keep your arguments to the facts and leave out the commentary and your point will drive itself. They have left themselves wide open for people like you to point out their questionable behavior, but when you mix your commentary in with the facts that you are pointing out then you are only leaving yourself open for scrutiny from the koolaid kids.

Onward "my friend".

Auctiongallery2, AKA Cary

BidBay CEO admitted to nothing, you are a gossiper that likes to lie against anybody...will you ever give up with your lies??

Sorry but you are such a bitter woman against BidBay, and your banner still running for free there, that shows you what kind of person the CEO at Bidbay is, and all those stores you got with bbb's and you sold for cash money, you surely are an ungrateful woman, do you still have that toothache? maybe you need to see the dentist and have the tooth removed...and then you will feel better and appreciate BidBay for all the wonderful things they have done for you.

It's also a shame that AW allows this kind of trash against another business site...what if it was the other way around?...but what goes around comes around...we will see the reward of the gossipers that have lied against BidBay and the CEO.

AG2 - I discovered that the first time I looked at Bidbay. I noticed that every single category and sub-category had at least 5 auctions listed and wondered why... when I looked I saw ALL of the categories/sub-categories had 5 listings each by bidbayceo. That is the reason I don't use Bidbay... IMO it was just so blatantly dishonest of the CEO to bloat his numbers that way, I decided I didn't want anything to do with the site.

quickdraw and auctiongaurd.

I am sorry you don't like the choice of words I used "spamming."

The word the CEO used is "spammed."

You must remember by posting this information I must post the truth in order to protect myself from either libel, defamation or slander cases because as it stands now I have been threatened with litigation for "business economics interference."

You might think I am already teetering that line. But not if I call it what the CEO did in his own word.

I cannot say for instance "BidBay CEO admits to pumping up his numbers." That is not what he said. But I think it's fair to assume that is what he did.

I will stand behind the statements I made.

I think it's quite clear that there is a pattern here.

As for this being lies. I have given out my email for anyone if they wish to view that link.

P.S. I am not a woman...LOL
