BidVille is growing! I just wish I had bids! I have over 1000 items there and haven't had a bid in 10 days or so. I sent out about 100 letters, to people offering a 10% discount on the price of any of my items, if they bid, but so far, nothing. I will try to remain hopeful though. I relisted about 10 auctions on Yahoo because I have some of their funny money to use up before they get swept under the rug. I used to have a couple of auctions, with bids, closing every day and sometimes a lot more! What to do?

I guess just diversify and wait patiently.
Ebay has been a little slow also. TAX TIME!!

It will take a while to get it to the point we left Yahoo. Yahoo never reached EBay proportions either. Bidvill right now is all or nothing at all. Had some good days but also have the bad ones too.

I just started to list on Bidville. My guess is that you need lots of items before you can expect results in the same manner as Yahoo before they committed suicide.

I agree with deichen. I listed around 100 items starting in January and sold a whopping 6. I know things will take time and, hopefully, buyers will come. But if you need the money, or the space for stuff that does sell on other sites, right now it's a losing proposition.
I've seen so many people jump in and say things like "Oh, it must be your prices or what you're selling...etc." Hogwash! If I pull an auction off BidVille and list it on another site and it sells there right away or rather quickly, and I've kept my price the same, the ad and all TOS the same, what does that tell you?
The buyers (for my category, at least), just aren't at BidVille...
Still listing something new there once in awhile, but for the majority, I'm sticking with the sites where the stuff moves.

Wow, sounds like bidville is bustville. I thought about hedging my bets and listing about 500 auctions there, but I am seeing way more activity than that with only 670 listings on bidbay. I think I'l not waste the time. Ouch, 1000 and no bids, for two weeks. Where else do you do the auction thing on? And is this the id I would look for? You never know you may have something I want to buy.

Actually, I never said anything about 2 weeks. I have a few on Epier and relisted some on Yahoo, so far no luck!
