Seriously, GT at Bidbay is offering to give anyone who lives in a major city $50.00 to pass at Bidbay business cards at local flea markets! Also, if you want to drive his new PT Cruiser across your state, he will pay you $150.00! People are signing up fast, so spaces are limited!

ROTFLMAO I think I will just wait until some bidders come along......

But, deichen, you had two bidders last time I looked.

The $150 is for getting home, not for driving the car. You might want to add he pays for gas also. And oh yes, the $50 for handing out business cards .. what a nice deal for those that take the time to do that.

I am going to go check this out! I am not registered on BidBay under deichen. I am deichen here and only here! Deichen is the name of a grade school friend! Maybe I can find a long lost friend!

Just got back from searching for a deichen on Bidbay and came up with nothing. Gee, I am dissappointed! Oh well, I didn't believe it anyway. I am certainly not stupid enough to be registered here on the same name I use on my auctions! I sure would like you to tell me how to find this deichen person's auctions. I am thinking that someone on BidBay took my user name and is trying to do a dirty deal. Does that sound like anyone?

Hay let Bidbay have their fun it is not herting anyone. I just wonder if after it is all over will they raise their fee's to make up for the cost? Well it is March 18 and they still have not announce what the fee's will be can anyone guess? April the 1st is comeing fast like I said maby they will make the announcement March 31 that will give the sellers plenty of time to deside to stay or go right.

Deichen,

I know your name on there and Yahoo as well. Don't worry I won't reveal it here. I will say though:

"shiver me timbers"

so you know I do know who you are.

It's not Deichen on BidBay or Yahoo either, so that much is concrete, no one stole your AW ID.

I know you had two bids and one was retracted. Now do you believe me?

edited to remove the UBB that didn't work!

For those of you who want to know my point, which I assume will be asked eventually -
she bashes the site that puts money in her pocket. I asked her on another thread why she does that and continues to list there and received no response.

If I'm wrong, I apologize, but somehow I think I'm not.

You are too funny! The site that puts money in my pocket! I sold one item on BidBay since Mid January, and that customer was a former Yahoo customer! Oh yea, I am getting rich! I have sold more than that on BidVille, but beings you are doing a lot of investigative work, you would know that???? I think BidBay is comical and still do! I think driving a PT cruiser across the U.S. states is probably not the best advertising they could manage, or is it!

Well, now Deichen, since I am not an investigator, I didn't check your other auctions. As a matter of fact, your ID was handed down to me, I did no investigating on my own.

If you're that dissatisfied with Bidbay, why list there at all?

I wouldn't bother listing there or being there if I hated them as much as you seem to.

As far as not the best advertising, so what? Can you make a better suggestion to them? It's open to everyone to drive that vehicle. Did you want to do it? If not, quit your griping about it. They're not involving anyone who doesn't want a part of it.

As I said before, if you don't like something, just walk away, don't sit here and make up things just to bash a site.

There's nothing wrong with offering people money to get home on and nothing wrong with offering people money to hand out business cards.

It would be a great idea to have a giant "BidBay Billy" strapped to the roof, and have a "Find BidBay Billy and Win ' contest!

It would bring droves out of their homes looking for the PT when it came to town.

He could advertise it on all the local readio stations when they were coming.

Tell GT he can have that idea for free.

Pocono,

What a novel idea! You should go post that to them on the boards. They'll eat it up.

Thanks for not being negative.

Re-reading your post and what does "shiver me timbers" mean?

I have 76 auctions listed on Bidbay and intend to keep them there until the fees kick in. Why not? They had 99 relists. I also list the same items on Epier and BidVille. To Tell you the truth, I am not happy with any of the results so far, but I do feel that BidVille has the most potential in the future.

I do not know who handed you my id, or if you have the correct one. But I will tell you that whoever did so, had no right to.

mtnmama. Since you are so close to the bidbay circle maby you can tell us. (.1) What will the new fee's be? (.2) When will they be posted they are suppost to come into effect April 1st this is March 19th not much room? (.3) Why is it in such small print on the front page Free is big but click here can see? (.4) Has anyone asked about the AW plates in the bidbay chat and why it happened? (.5) Are they doing away with the games so auction sellers can sell or are they just changeing them? I started out with bidbay when they first can on line I liked them but as time went on here came the games so they could up their numbers. Then I watched as they gave people the boot for asking questions very strong iron hand on the chat board either say you loved them or you were out. I got Tired of the games and sick of the chat board fear and left. I could go on and ask about the people in charge but most people no the story AG2 a long time ago talked on these issues. Hope bidbay does get back to becomeing a auction site and will allow people to talk freely on the site. But to be honest dont thing it will ever happen.

How did you become privy to that information, I checked the site and found nothing? Where does someone go to sign up?

I'm not that close the the bidbay circle, but I'll try to answer your questions.

(.1) What will the new fee's be?

I haven't a clue. I don't list there right now, so it won't affect me as much as others.
It's been discussed on the chats before and as far as I know, everyone was against fees, but you know they have to make money sometime.

(.2) When will they be posted they are suppost to come into effect April 1st this is March 19th not much room?

Again, I haven't a clue. I guess they figure 30 days notice was given but they forgot to tell the fee structure.

(.3) Why is it in such small print on the front page Free is big but click here can see?

IMO that's the way to draw attention to the Free site. I don't agree with that type of advertising, but they apparently do.

(.4) Has anyone asked about the AW plates in the bidbay chat and why it happened?

You mean the templates? Sure it was discussed. They changed them. They have a lot of young techs there who, as I was told, didn't know any better and did something stupid. It's been corrected.

(.5) Are they doing away with the games so auction sellers can sell or are they just changeing them?

As far as was posted, the contests have ended. I'm not privy to any other info, so I don't know what's going to happen. I didn't win any contests, never really listed to enter any and don't really care about them.

Sorry, that's all I know. Not much, but hey, I'm like you, just a registered member.

Quickdraw29, it came to me in an email. That's all I can tell you. Obviously she has a friend there that isn't really a friend.

Deichen,

Once again, if you hate them so much, why even list for free? There are other free sites, not as interesting with chats, but there are many of them out there. I wouldn't let my items sit and waste anywhere I didn't like/trust the people. JMO
