I thought that BidBay had planned on implementing auction fees, but see that they are now going to implement feature fees beginning May 1.

I assume that means free listings will continue.

Am I reading this right?

I think the free listings will continue for now....I believe evenually they want to charge listing fees also. They are kindof secretive about the fee situation and certainly never claim or even say they "hope" to be free forever.

I am not listing there.

Nor do I. A BUSINESS has to ultimately charge fees or they are just a chat board. Bidbay just does not generate enough business/traffic/bidders for me. I don't know that they ever will unles they do away with the Bidbay Buck thing.

You never no what bidbay is going to do, they say fee's will start in April and at the last minute they get scared, and say they will start in May. I feel ever site should charge for the featured options it helps pay for the site and gives people that dont want to run with the heard a place to display their wares. Bidbay will charge listing fee's later but right now they are afraid. I understand bidbay will be keep up their old tricks of playing with the numbers if you dutch auction 1,000 items it will show on the front count as 1,000 listings not one. They are still trying to keep the game show groupies happy, and its still "say something good" on the chat boards are get out it is getting harder and harder to be able to speak freely like in some countrys like U.S.S.R and germany the only chat room I am allowed to speak realy freely on is BIDVILLE and that is where I took my auctions I like freedom! Back to bidbay it looks to me they have been trying to make changes but they are worried about making their serton sellers mad and are trying to walk a fine line. If bidbay is going to become a auction site they need to (.1) Stop the game show. (.2) Open up and allow people to voice their consurnes quit being so touchie if people feel something is wrong check it out dont give them the boot. (.3) Be honesty on the front page if you say you have millions in listings and buyer go in and zero "0" they will leave and not come back. I will put these suggestions up at no charge lol. If bidbay would become a free speech, no games, honest auction site I would go back and list but I dont thing they will "I can only hope." I would even pay FVF. I have not been in AW for some time is it me or has the postings dropped alot? I wonder why?

What kind of a fee would they charge? Most of the stuff on bidville is 10 cent sports cards! Who would pay to list those
