I've taken the leap off the fence in regard to BidBay.com. Unfortunately or not, for them, I landed on the other side.

Some of their staff exhibit personalities that appear anti-social. They are argumentative, stubborn and remind me of school yard bullies. They discriminate and are religiously discriminate also.

They have no bidders other than the people who are there supporting each other. Their contests are out of control and ridiculous. The same people with nothing to do all day win all the contests.

Their cruiser campaign was nothing more than "meet your friends." Giving out those tennis balls was the only good idea anyone had and that was one person in Tennessee. He tried to promote the site, everyone else, it seems, tried to eat their way through parts of the U.S. and a part of Canada Hit all the states? I think not. Plan ahead for publicity? LOL!

That's all, I'm done. They can take the site and have as much fun with it as they like. They nitpick, the categories leave a lot to be desired and no one can find anything anymore to bid on that worth anything!

Have a nice day and MartyAW, please, this is not from another chatboard as the other wasn't either. It was a statement of fact. Nothing was mentioned about a chatboard! You locked it based on your opinion, which was wrong. Please don't lock this thread.

All I can say is this..........'bout time Mama!! Welcome to the other side and hopefully you won't suck back up to get back in GT's good graces. I understand that his conditional return to chat policy is that you have to come over here and say some wonderful things about him and his cult. I am thrilled that you have finally woke up and smelled the coffee. Sorry it had to be a heart attack to open your eyes, but God uses what ever means needed. Take care and stay well. I am jumping for joy here!!!

It wasn't my heart attack, nor the fact that I died twice on the table and had to be shocked back to life once and open heart messaged once - it was the Attitude with a capital A, yes

A t t i t u d e

of new staff members that threw me over the edge. I wish them no harm, nor do I wish them much success. I think they will flounder and fail just like those before them. There have been some pretty nice sites out there, sites that had potential, that failed.

BidBay, IMO has no potential at all if they persist on their present course of action. They get rid of more people than they attract. They have no valid tech support on the weekends, have no plans to hire any, yet stay open 24/7. Half the time on Sunday you can't even access the site due to slowness. They aren't even coming close to the other sites that are out there.

I was not suspended, nor did I ever suck up to them. That they know very well I did not do, nor would I ever do it. I speak my mind and if they don't like it - I'll just tell them what they love to say to everyone else (especially new members)

Hi, I have been watching the show, try not to click on to much over there, do not want anything to get on myself, from there, and even their oldest supporters, after trying to get the site changed, and voicing their opinions, are finally leaving, they realize, nothing will change there, ego trips, power plays, Friday nite Drunk thread zapping parties, Favoritism, Illegal contests, CEO scamming prize wins, ever check his other stock, and holdings, what a great human being.

Sad the staff are all working along with the CEO, hand and hand, hard, telling whose an honest member and whose working for a paychek, the most disruptive one on the site so far as to destroy It, is their own CEO, maybe a stock scheme, who knows, or cares, really sad, they had a shot at making it and kicking the big boy, if they were honest, and had any common sense.

Enough said, crychek, only here.

mtnmama,
I am glad to hear of it! That fence was probably pointy! Really though, they do it to themselves, I can't understand it. Hopefully, they won't offer you a substantial amount of money to go to California to "consult" with them! LOL

P.S. I hope you are feeling better, with each passing day.

Hey deichen

I don't take hush money, but I will take their money for services rendered. What I won't do is waste my time in California unless they want to pay an all expense paid vacation for my family as well. I would love to go to Disneyland. But I would not spend my precious vacation time in their offices.

The fence wasn't pointed, but it rusted pretty quickly. There are just so many threats users can take, eh?

I agree! Maybe we all could go to Disneyland!

What was the final straw for you? The prayer?

Nope, the threat by their newest moderator. That took the cake. Then he got mad because I told him he put his pants on just like everyone else in the morning or something like that.

Honestly, they think once they get the moderator status, they are God!

I think they have their office IN Disneyland or at least their thought processes.

Deichen

I just noticed another locked thread about charities in which you asked why diseases weren't cured yet with all the money donated.

Did you know - if they cured them, people would be out of work - researchers, doctors, lawyers, etc. There would be no grants, thus no university research depts. Imagine the fiasco? Better the govt kill us early than put so many brains on unemployment. Besides it saves on food and care for the elderly.

Mtnmama,
Personally I would hate to see you leave BidBay. While I don't agree with all of their practices reguarding their forums(among other things), I do think they have potential. I actually think your posts there, for the most part are an asset. They give another perspective to an otherwise unchallenged opinion, in most cases.
I do however understand why you might want to leave. JMO

I know, but that is the sickest part! My nephew has Cystic Fibrosis and I pray they will find a cure, but sometimes think that they could do something already. His med's run into the thousands each month. If they could cure this then the drug makers would be out of business.

Better put in an order for your favorite flavor of koolaide. It sure did make a difference in Auctiongallery. I think that will be the next offer. Time will tell how sincere this is.

Lol AllyKat, amusing how you don't even know me. Sucking up? It's not in my nature hun.
If you care to reread my post you will see that I stated that I could see why Mtnmama might want to leave. I did NOT plead with her to come back. I simply stated that I enjoyed her posts, and that they would be missed.

1. I do not like koolaide.

2. pOE, don't take offense. I know what you meant. I don't think this person was referring to you.

3. I received a warning from one of their "coaches" telling me I got persinal with a user on a thread. I asked if they didn't mean personal . Wonder if that's what they meant, since I don't know what persinal means. heheh

4. Spelling is a subject that should never be overlooked in school, because if one can't spell, one appears so very ignorant. It means one can't read or comprehend what one is reading.

5. Deichen, sorry about your nephew and yes it is awful how they get all this money and are unable to (or aren't allowed to) find cures. Drug and insurance companies rule the world.

6. I do not take bribes.

7. I do not take bribes.

8. Ditto.

9. I happen to have ethics.

10. Have a nice night

Hi MtnMama!!

So very happy to see you are posting...that means you are gonna be ok!!

I was sure sad to hear of your heart attack and suffering. And I am very sorry that BidBay offered you such a nasty-tasting welcome-back...just what ya needed, huh?

I haven't been back lately, to read the boards...(at BB)...and don't think I will. It always seems to leave a rotten taste in my mouth. I have nothing against the users and have found most to be sweet, caring folks....but....since I am still suspended there and so much negative seems to pop-up there, I think it's best for me to just "stay away".

But....I am sooo glad to see you!! Will still keep you and your family in my prayers. Hope you are back to 100% and more, very soon!

Wendy

mntmama,
What happened? I missed the sus**** reason. No doubt, for a stupid reason, but then koolaid affects people that way!

Funny how AG2 came out of the woodwork to close his topic. Oh, he must be sooooo very proud!

Hey, this board is starting to get exciting again!

Thanks Wendy! Actually blowing off steam is very good for my health regardless of what the now (I guess) "Doctor" AuctionGallery2 thinks. It may not be good for his elderly granddaddy, but at my age, my real doctor told me not to keep things in and stewing. That's what got me in this mess. I'm improving daily and should be able to get out and about by myself in 2 or 3 weeks. Then I can go to rehab, and really get going with the jogging, running, etc. I'll be running the track at the high school this summer.

AG2, it can't be good for your health to worry about mine so much. Yes I'm thankful to be alive. Aren't you happy I am? No? Ohhhh, I'm sorry to disappoint you. So why not just shut off your computer, count your pennies and look at all the neat stuff they implemented on your behalf. Doesn't it look great to see they did so much for you? LOLOL!

The suspension doesn't bother me, I just retracted my bids. LOL! I don't even want to spend a penny more there. I can get better quality elsewhere.

Everyone,

A reminder you have all been told time and time again that discussion of events that occur on other Message Boards is not appropriate to AW. Take it back where it belongs or take it to email - don't keep bringing it to AW.

allykat

I would suggest that you re-read the CGs before posting again, particlarly the clause referencing respect and consideration of other members. Some of your comments are close to the line and I am sure you don't need reminding that given your most recent suspension, your continued privileges within the AW Message Center are subject to you abiding by those guidelines.

Deichen,

I don't know. LOL! The CEO himself went in and edited my posts, all of them for telling the truth! Can you imagine? The truth really hurts them a lot, doesn't it?

I got a warning, but not from him and the warning didn't say I was suspended. What? What's that you say? They never really tell you? Oh, that's right, they strike just like snakes in the grass.

LOL!

Sorry Michelle, I don't know of any other way to communicate my suspension in a public manner. I was suspended for posting this thread at AW. Plain and simple. It doesn't mean I dislike AW or am trying to get around the CG, it means they don't like the truth being told.

Bidbay, I listed there when they first came online but when they became a game show site "You no 10,000 bidbay bay bucks for a 5 cent item" I like cash for my items, and I found out the front page was not fact but fiction "Over 1,000,000 items listed" That makes people think wow thats a lot go in side the site see hardly nothing makes most people mad! They also have a hard time making up their minds "We are going to charge on this date then back out because serton people start crying" That has been going on for a long time. This is just a few things about Bdbay I dont like could give more but dont want to take the time. I have listing to do at BIDVILLE now there is a great site run by good people the sellers & buyer's are nice and helpful and the listings are growing. I see bidbay is going to try copeying BIDVILLE (They will never get the job done) they would have to giveup some controll and lift the iron hand and give some of their people some freedom. So if you get tired and need a place to rest stop by BIDVILLE you will be welcomed.
