Okay-Someone asked me a simple question and before I even got a chance to reply the thread was locked!
Allykat-I have seen alot of changes at BidBay in the past month and most of them have not been good.Some members have taken over as if they own the site.The PT tour was a joke.The category changes,while they didn't affect me,have upset alot of people.I would like to see BidBay succeed,but right now it looks like things are moving downhill.I only hope they open their eyes and do something before it is too late.All the time and energy that has gone into attracting people to the site is a total waste if they aren't going to like what they see when they get there.Some of the members there just don't seem to understand that a successful auction site takes sellers AND bidders.They seem to think it's all about listing to get entries into the contest and BBBs.
Mtnmama-I can't believe anyone would call me a Bidbay cheerleader.OBVIOUSLY,you haven't read any of my post.Where is the info that supports this theory of yours?I have read your post here and there and agree with almost everything you have said.I speak my mind when it comes to Bidbay,but I choose to do it in a constructive way.I don't go around bashing others,even though I too have had problems with the "holy roller cheerleader".I read the post that led to your suspension and don't think it was fair.Now,would a BidBay cheerleader disagree with them?I'm just trying to say that while you have obviously made your discision concerning BidBay,you DO NOT know me or anything about me and it was wrong of you to just assume that since I'm a member of BidBay,I agree with everything that goes on there.I don't and I thought I had made that clear.

Hi Tonya! Thank you for your response. I believe Mtnmama was referring to one of your first posts here where you were defending Bidbay. I had observed that you had changed your mind, as most sane people do
Perhaps she had been side tracked and hadn't noticed it. She has been pretty busy.
Honey I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it to change. It really REALLY reminds me tooooooooooo much of the Jim Jones tragedy. If you get a chance to watch that movie, do so and you will see. I watched it yesterday and it was scarey. Have a wonderful day and kiss Tavon for me!

There won't be any positive changes. They're on a destructive course. The CEO tells one of the founding members to get his own site! He then suspends another for voicing his opinion. He then suspends me for telling the truth. (for which you laughed your head off on that particular subject if I recall. That may be why I confused the two Tonya's.)
He's exhibiting psychotic behavior at this point. He thinks everyone is against him personally, which he has told be prior. A site can't last if no one knows how to run it and it can't last when the CEO has no experience.

Yep, a few months ago the leader told me on the phone that he felt all comments were about him and he took them very personally.
That's extremely sad. I honestly don't see the site going anywhere in the next year except down.
They'll be left with the cheerleaders and that's not enough to bring in the bidders. Eventually people will wake up and smell the coffee. I feel sorry for those who really want to make a go of it, but the rest, well they don't even know a thing about auctioning other than this is their first experience. If I had a first experience like BidBay, I think I'd sell my computer.

Yep!This is getting ridiculous!A member publicly humilates a new member and what do they do?They "supposedly" investigated the new member and found out her info wasn't accurate.She gets suspended and the "old timer"wants people to feel sorry for her because I pointed out her ignorance.She wasn't even given a warning?????

Well, let me tell you, I have never in my 50+ years seen anything like that site. I can not wait for it to go belly up. I will personally email everyone of the nincompupes that have such faith that it is going to go over the top!! Thant is the biggest joke. I would not sell over there and I will not buy over there, in fact if that was the only site,I would take moma's advise and sell my puter.LOL at you mtnmama. I pity those few over there that will be drinking the koolaid at the end. It is almost exactly like the movie. SCARY !! They deserve that tho.

I have not posted here a whole bunch but would like to say that time will tell. I say little and read and listen a whole lot. It pays. One can learn a bunch from doing that, then we can form an opinion based on our findings. I have formed my opinion of Bidbay and their antics and I must say they agree with most of the posts here. To whomever said it is only a social area and chat room.....you are correct. Little is sold except to other members and for Bidbay Bucks. That is more like a swap shop. There needs to be a bunch of changes and more consistencies. I am not going to hold my breath waiting for it. When the investors get tired of pouring out money it will all be over. All out and none in??????? hmmmmmmmm. It can't go on this way for much longer.
It's not an auction site. It's a beg for money, cry, ridicule, chat. religious and contest site. Someone needs to know more than taxes to run an auction site.
But then look behind the scenes. We have one crooked congressman, one man who can't really have a grasp on the English language because he really can't speak it well and finds it hard to understand what's being said, one woman who seems okay but she follows him around and dotes on his every word, a few young techs and a woman who heavens knows what her previous experience is, running the ad campaigns. Sort of reminds me of Baa Baa Black Sheep with Chris Farley. I saw that last night and laughed so hard my chest wounds hurt!

Wow! I suppose this really is private club! Amazing, too, how so many false accusations are made here. I am not an employee, nor a shill anything. I am, however, a user at BidBay. If you have difficulty understanding the difference, feel free to email me.

Since the topic is bidbay...I will say it is interesting that the - BBCheerleader - just registered today, and first thing said is:
"You are the weakest link....Goodbye."
Right on crychek! I don't know where the moderators are right now either. They will see this eventually, and hopefully lock it.
