For those who want to add realism to the world of on-line auctions. Try www.Micro-Auction.com, it's a "Live" , "real-time" auction service. Basically, you submit items and then it sells in a Live auction. It's the first of it's kind that I have ever seen on the internet. Looks like it might be fun.

Very interesting format...the only thing I see negative, off the bat is they have a free hotmail address.

Yes, I have seen Smooth Sale. It's not really an auction but a live marketplace. The only thing bad with that is you need to be "Online" to make it live. So to sell live you need actually to be infront of your computer. This seems interesting because to sell live all you need to do is show up at the auction. What I understand of it.

Johns1124, the format sounded a little weird to me when I first read it, LOL. I guess that would make it truly live, though.

This is truly a new idea. After downloading the software it took me a few minutes before I got the hang of it. But yes, when they start taking items it might be a totally different twist for online auctions. I was skeptical since I have been on other "Live" auctions. This one is the most responsive, allot faster.

At LowestBids....download a bidbar....you can participate in live, real-time auctions.
I have done well at LowestBids, but not enough folks are using the bidbars yet, for the live, real-time auctions to be exciting yet! Looking forward to selling Live!
The sales I have made (approx 100 since 2-9-2001) have been mostly (1) person bids. But I like the site and the bidbar...great technology! Before long...you will be able to buy banner ads that will advertise your products...even at other websites!
Am fairly new to the site, so I'm still learning and getting the hang of things. Have noticed that this site is quick to respond to tech problems and listens to its users.
Live Instant Help is available 24-7...like that alot too!
Good luck.....and keep us posted about the live, real-time auctions! I love that idea! The sooner we could participate "live", the more fun we would all have!
