Does AuctionWatch require that individuals posting in its forums about specific auction sites disclose that they are an employee or otherwise associated with that auction site?
Anyone from any auction site is welcome here as a poster, especially to answer questions if they are here as a Rep of the company. The only thing we ask is that they not 'promote' that site in any way.
Hope that helps. If it doesn't, please email me with questions.

I'm a long-time member at AW (since the days when Mark Dodd was on the boards quite frequently), and I never anticipated the heavy-handed moderation that I'm seeing now. I have rarely posted, but before this thread is locked, which is what seems to happen to every thread regarding Bidbay, I just want to put forth a fact.
Bidbay does not hire "employees". They contract with "independent contractors". It is, in my humble opinion, a great financial benefit for Bidbay.

Particularly so when AuctionWatch takes no action towards individuals coming over from other auction site chat boards, then suspending a longtime participant for refuting their statements.
Something is definitely wrong with this picture.

Hello Everyone,
I cannot discuss the moderation of another and this appears to be a thread about moderation and I will have to lock it up.
If there is a specific moderation subject that you would like to have opened for discussion, please run it by a moderator in email to get approval to get that discussion going.
