I dont [i]hate[/b] Bidville either. I tried them once and listed about 100 items of JUNK, just to try it. Opening bids were a joke and 24 out of 27 sold at the opening bid. But, I figured it was worth it just for the experience and the feedback.
I have some time on my hands today and was considering listing a few more there.
Quick question: Is there software available that will enable one to schedule listings?
I trust this question is admissable in this forum as there should be no conflict of interest. AW does not support Bidville.

I don't HATE any of the "other" online auction sites, but after having items listed and relisted at them, week after week, month after month, I came to the conclusion that AUCTION SALES required my listing at eBay and their demonstrated ability to generate traffic.
This month I have listed a total of 11 items, of which nine have sold (already ended) or will sell (already have a bid).
There are duplicates of many of these items on the "other" online auctions, but they get few pageviews and ZERO bids.
Given that "few pageviews and ZERO bids enironment," I'm going to be listing at eBay again next month.
edited a goofy sentence.

BidVille is one of the few alternative auction-sites that has real potential and one would be fooling themselves if they didn't understand that. To say BidVille is "wonderful" is quite a stretch, but to imply it is "horrible" would be equally ridiculous.
I've sold less than $2,000 at BidVille since I joined. Absolutely ZERO of my sales came from other BidVille-sellers buying my items. So clearly, some folks do somehow find their way to BidVille. I knew it would be quite some time before BidVille could be developed to the point of making one of the bigger sites start fretting. I'm patient, which is the key to long-term success. Clearly, the best course of action is to list premium items at the traffic-sites. I had one item sit at BidVille for 6 weeks at $125 with no bid. I moved it 3-days ago and it sold for $135 in 1-1/2 days...boom! I get frustrated watching items go unviewed and unbid, but I'll keep listing items at BiVille.
There's no doubt BidVille needs a stronger search engine; something comparable to eBay's xlnt search engine. There's no doubt BidVille needs to implement some form of user verification. There's no doubt BidVille needs to advertise to bring in real traffic. When should BidVille pay for advertising? Is it reasonable for them to make this investment at this time? Will BidVille sellers become receptive to the ultimate need for FVFs to justify advertising? Will BidVille need another solution to make advertising a reality? What does all this mean? Simply that a relatively new site needs to be refined and needs to be allowed time to do it...
Bidville is a relatively new site and is still clearly in a growth mode. That BidVille has 615,000+ listings doesn't prove anything, but it is a start. There are a few frustrated individuals, who would try to force an accelerated pace on BidVille's growth. Remember these old sayings/slogans:
"No wine before its time"...else it's just grapejuice, eh?
"Rome wasn't built in a day"...heck, even Stonehenge took 3 months...LOL!
BidVille's time will come, so give it what it needs...time. If you are a seller looking for an alternative site, take the time to list some items there. You'll find it very easy to navigate and listings are easy. You can even post a "Shameless Plug" for your items in that section on the message board (found through the "Community" button at the top of each page).

Wherever you sell or buy, may you have bids, wins and fun!

"Quick question: Is there software available that will enable one to schedule listings?"
If you mean schedule the closing times, yes. You can select the closing time if you sign up for premier membership, which alos allows you to use the feature option and gallery at 10% rate.
