Hi everyone,
To often, one finds something so great that they need to pass it along. So, from a fellow seller / buyer of auctions sites, I wanted to share a great site that I have had the pleasure to be a part of. This is Bidbay Auctions. I switched from Ebay to this site and can't even express how great it is there. There is no listing or re-list fees here. You can contact the CEO directly for just about anything, they have compassionate staff and the people that buy and sell, are just the greatest. They run monthly contests and even weekend contests to help promote people to list and buy stuff. You don't feel like cattle in a herd, but a person here. They have 4 million Subscribers & 1,468,398 items in 2,857 categories. For sellers, yes the business has been good, for buyers, I have found the greatest prices, since there is no additional up prices because of listing/relist fees. Why am I taking the time to talk about them? Well, I feel I owe them for all their kindness and all the profits I have made. I thank you all for taking the time to read this and trust me; it will be worth taking a look at them at www.bidbay.com.

Sincerely,
Janelle / Angelbeybe

Hey There Angel

Didn't you know talk about Bidbay is not allowed here?

I guess this thread will end up getting locked up as well...

Can't say that it hurts my feelings!

Items? Auction sites have conformed to a "standard" of reporting listings.

BidBay's SEC filing even reported listings, no doubt because they saw the importance of providing accurate information to a regulatory authority, yet continues to post items on its homepage.

I wonder why?

By the way, how many listings does BidBay have?

This is the result of a SPAM contest cooked up by the CEO of TheSiteThatShallNotBeNamed designed to generate more traffic to THEIR boards. Sounds promotional to me . . .

nancam,

WOW! I just checked their auction site and see they've redone the layout, improved graphics, etc.

Then there's a place that says "We have what you're looking for!" followed by a box that you can type stuff into.

Is that where I'm supposed to type "The number of listings?"

ROTFLMAO.

By the way, you're right. This weekend features a SPAM CONTEST.

edited typo.

GT at Bidbay.com has conceived a contest to bring more hits to his site. He started a contest with cash prises - top prise 500.00 for his users to get out and spread the word about Bidbay. The person who spams the most sites wins. There are second, third, fourth and I think fifth prizes (cash) too.
The contest started today and ends on 6/3 at midnight I believe.

I won't atate my opinion of this.

Thank you for your outlook and judgement about other auction sites.I have been on Bidbay at times of your posting's there in the past 3 months and I do not even think AW would approve of what you posted there and do not care to repeat it.Bidbay and others like are family sites to do business on, not listen to bad jokes. Sorry AW but its the gods honest truth.
