Can't find the thread I started (OK, so I didnt really look), but wanted to let folks know that both my boyfriend and I received our $60.00 rebate checks from Staples.
One weird thing, the check was sent as though it was just a post card (the boyfriend, as observant as he is almost tossed his!).
Now, just gotta get my Cannon rebates and Ill be a happy camper!

A LOT of rebates these days come as "postcards". Ostensibly, these are cheaper for the companies to do, which is conceptually fine with me. However, as you note, how many are thrown out and never cashed? Certainly improves the profit of the companies when that happens...

I just got both the Staples & Canon rebates earlier this week, too...after 3 emails to Staples. They replied to 2 of them.
My Canon one came on a postcard, too.
After somebody else wrote about how much trouble it was to get Staples to send them their rebates, I was starting to have my doubts. But it did turn out to be a terrific buy on the scanner after all!

I agree that it was a WONDERFUL buy on a scanner. IF the Cannon rebate comes it I paid $5.07 for my scanner!! (Cant beat that with a stick!).
