I think it is ridiculous that the spending limit is $2,000 in a period of 6 months on a credit card. It does not take very long to use that amount up in purchases. I was told they pay the fees and that is why. But I have been told by several sellers that it takes awhile to get their money from PayPal so they are making money on that money until the sellers get it?? Sellers complain. I would just rather write a check than have to transfer money into my paypal account and wait 5 days for it to get there to pay the seller.

There are lots of reasons for this. I can guess at some of them. 1) PP is paying fees on this money, so they do want to set a reasonable limit. 2) They want to set a limit in case of fraud. You can always get more money into your account from your bank account or by having someone else PP you some money.

I use direct deposit and the money is in my account in 3 days. There arent many payment source that are faster, unless you want to send cash by courier.
>>Sellers complain.<< Then let them stop using PP. If you give someone a new car for free, they will complain about the color.

But most sellers hold a check for a week or more, so you havent saved any time. If you know you have payments to make, fund your PP account from your bank. You can also use ecount, payplace, paydirect (these work with CC) or achex (works with your checking account) while you wait for PP to get you a new credit limit.
