At the time I signed up for PayPal (February), I know there was a lot of debate about its merits on the eBay Discuss New Features Board, and a couple of people talked about how they'd downloaded and printed out a copy of PayPal's Terms of Service so they could read through them carefully and discuss the parts they found worrisome (like no FDIC insurance).

It sure would be handy if someone would resurface with a copy of those TOS to show to the Federal Trade Commission or whomever. Those were the TOS most of us agreed to when we signed up for PayPal, *not* the ones that have been unilaterally mutated by PayPal (without notification to its customer base) time and again over the course of the summer.

If anyone is going to make a legal case/class action suit/whatever against PayPal, they will need this kind of evidence to show to the authorities to prove how PayPal is lying and continually changing the rules. So how 'bout it? Does anybody have a printout of the original PayPal TOS moldering away in a file drawer somewhere? [You better believe that I'm kicking myself right now that I never bothered to print one back in February when I signed on, but I expect people and companies to behave honorably--silly me!!!]
