I asked paypal early this morning and have yet to receive an answer. Since I was BLAMED in to a Premier Accounts last night when I went for more information I thought that now I should get more cutomer service.
PayPals web site says: Web Accept is an
one-step credit card payments from anywhere on the web
Buyers can click on the button and then pay you with a credit card.
The payment is sent directly to your account, and the buyer is returned to your web site--it's that easy!
anyway here's my question:
Does the client have to also join paypal in order to use this one step credit card payment system?
The paypal site is very vague on this piont, and how can it be one step if they do have to join paypal?

I've not gotten a chance to use this feature yet, but several threads have already been done about it. If memory serves me AT ALL. Yes, they have to sign up. A pop up appears and they fill in the blanks and then the payment process is completed and they are dropped back on your site. Only takes a few "secs" supposedly. Some voiced concern that a new user might not want to sign up to use the service and was he actually being told he WAS signing up for a 3rd party payment service BEFORE he actually WAS signed up. Don't think a clear answer was ever established, 'course I could be wrong and I just missed it.

BTW Damon has assurred me that PayPal is working on a shopping cart system the system works now only one item at a time. (BLAH!)
I created a web site for multiple sales higher volume not single item transactions.
Hoping this gets resolved soon
