Hi all - I know there will be tons of comments on this. I was one who said "no PayPal if there are fees". If I read this correctly, starting Oct 16 I will have a counter on my PayPal account keeping track of the $500 limit on incoming credit card payments. I expect that once I reach the limit (if it's less than 6 months), I will be able to put my PayPal on hiatus.

Alternatively, I could say I'll take PayPal but only if buyers are using their existing balances, but that strikes me as needlessly complicated.

I think it's fair enough. If I'm making gobs more than $500 in PayPal transactions in 6 months, maybe I could afford the business account, but I'm not ready to go there yet, and I like having the option to keep the status quo a while longer.

Thanks, Damon. I feel that you listened. I would prefer that you keep it the way it was originally advertised - as a free service - but I am realistic enough to know that things change. I just have to decide if I am willing to go along with the changes.
