Candi? Are you out there? Please help clarify these issues.

We just finished our first (partial) month using the U-pic stamp program, and I am not sure what to do next. The instructions U-pic sent seem to be for a "regular" program, wherein you send in your log sheets and a premium. With the stamp program, do I just send in the log with attached stamps (and no money) until I need to re-order? Also, shouldn't I keep a copy of the log in case a claim needs to be made? (The Excel file Candi sent would not open with my version of Excel.)

Additionaly, Candi replied to a poster here that Delivery Confirmation was NOT required with USPS as the carrier on any of their programs. However, she stated that you would only have to pay 35 cents/dvu if you DID use DC, rather than the 40 cents. (None of that was in the paperwork sent to us.) Yet there are no 35 cent stamps or possible combinations to equal 35!

b/t/w, we are very pleased to be able to use U-pic, and have begun offering free insurance on all items over $20 we sell.

Hello,

I hope the following helps you with your questions - thanks for posting them here

#1 -
You are correct in that you send in the original and keep a copy for yourself. I am sorry the file would not open for you but now that you have the information required you can create any log that will work for you. Just make sure the required columns are present. You have already paid for the insurance so you send in no monies. The extra monthly sheet sent is solely used as a cover sheet as your account name is on the top.

#2 -
You were not sent the information as the .35 cent rate for DC shipments is for standard accounts only. If you are using DC 100% of the time - e-mail me your U-PIC account name and I will acquire authorization to move you to a standard acount.

I hope this helps. Have a great weekend
Please feel free to post or e-mail me direct anytime you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks again,
Candi

Can't help you with upic, but as for the spreadsheet, you may want to get yourself a copy of Star Office from www.sun.com.

I haven't run into an excel or lotus file it can't open. I don't even have a copy of MS Office, use Star exclusively.
