What is up with Tradesafe?

They have a notice on the site about no more new customers or escrow transactions.

What is up? Are they going out of business?

YES! They're closing down their shop!

We only used them once, and just one try made us sure that they're going to be out of business in no time.

Why? The reasons are simple:

1. The site is too user-unfriendly and the service is too complicated;
2. Much higher service charges than their competitors.

If they just failed on one of these two points, they might still be able to survive or at least to hang on for a while.

Look at CCNOW.com: They charge 9% commission, but they still live on -- because their service is a lot easier to use.
