Hi

Why do I have 2 unwanted links on my enlarged Images screen ? I don't want the Storefronts promo neither the 'track this auction' link !! ( see my item 1176887065 at eBay )

I have My Account / Sellers Preferences / Promotional Options / Storefront promo on enlarged image page ---- OFF

and

My Account / Sellers Preferences / Auctions Listings Options / Insert 'track this auction ' link in listings ---- ALSO OFF

I'm paying for a service, I have to watch Flashing advertisings of Casinos ( you could change your name to CasinoWatch.com , beeing innundated of cookies from your advertisings , and now THIS ?!?!

Please remove the UNWANTED LINKS from my enlarged images screens.

And please don't blame my IP/browser/etc..

Hi Jose,

It looks like you may have found a bug -- we have forwarded your account to engineering as an example -- we were also able to replicate this in our own accounts.

But 24 hours later, the unwanted links are still there.

Hello,

1.) On August 17th, a new item ( eBay 1179304054 ) is still showing the unwanted links on enlarged images. My prefferences are set for not want these !!

Is this a bug ??


2.) Unwanted counter: I have also stopped wanting AW counters. But they still show up on the same item 1179304054.

Is this another bug ?

Hi Jose,

I will need to check on the status of the storefront promo issue, but engineering has been notified during the time you made us aware of the problem.

Regarding the counter issue, I checked the auction you specified and you had one of the counters selected when you created the auction. Did you have a counter selected when you first launched this auction, then changed the preferences later?

Still showing ( the unwanted ads ) after all these weeks ...

Hello,

Keeping in mind that the fix can only address auctions created after it is in place, this error has since been corrected.

If you do not promote your storefront (or have one) in your enlarged image page, and have the 'track this auction' option off for the same page, neither appears anymore.

I just tested this with a new listing, and it appears to be working correctly.
