I need some 'real' help. I tried launching an auction. Upon copmpletion of the sychronization, a prompt instructed me to click 'OK' to continue. I did so and nothing happened. I repeated the process, and again, nothing happened. I then contacted customer service twice over the next four days with no response. I decided to create a 'test' batch and attempted to launch it. Instead of the test batch launching, the original batch began to launch and was then cancelled. This lead me to believe that for each launch attempt there was a duplicate auction in line which will launch. If this is true, I wanted to know how to delete them.

Once again I mailed customer service, who responed with instructions were not clear. Their response to my last (5th) mail, instructed me to do the following: "You will need to login to your account via the website and click on the error link next to the auction. It will then prompt you to enter in some additional information. After you have entered in the information you can then try to upload your auctions again." I went to 'My Account' via their website, and found three columns, Online Statements, Personal Preferences, and Seller Preferences with no link to my auctions or an 'error link. Can someone please help me resolve this problem. So far this has cost $26.90 a eBay for an auction that launched prematurely, (and had to be closed), while I was attempting to correct the problem.

Hi Foreverretro,

Your batch should not upload each time that you synchronize/upload another batch. When you uploaded the test batch, was the other one open as well? If you would like to delete that original batch from Auction Manager Pro, please complete the following steps:

1. Click "File" on the top menu bar.
2. Click "Open Batch", and select the batch you would like to delete.
3. Hit the delete button on your keyboard, and click "yes" at the prompt.

This will delete the entire batch from your system. If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Thank you Sonya, but I do not wish to
delete the original batch, I wish to
upload it and fear that there may
be duplicates of this batch waiting
in line to upload from previous
upload attempts that failed. I am
trying to avoid posting duplicate
auctions for the same item, as I have
already paid eBay for such an error.
There is a distinct possibility that
the original batch was open when
I attempted to upload the test batch.
Did the original batch freeze for some
reason, only to be prompted into action
by the launching of the test batch?
I merely wish to be certain that there
are no unwanted batches in queue that
may launch on my next attempt to upload
the original batch. If there are, I wish
to delete those queued, so that I might
safely launch the original batch.

Hi foreverretro,

From the way you describe your actions in your posts, it sounds like you have uploaded this one batch more than one time, but when I check your online account, you have no active auctions -- just 8 pending auctions with errors.

To check you account, please log into AuctionWatch online and click on Auction Manager to see the status of your auctions.

Once you are sure that this batch is not already in your AW online account nor at the auction venue, you can reupload these auctions.

Callie

Callie,

I am not sure that I know what the 8 pending auctions with errors refers to. However, I suspect that these are items from the original batch that fail to upload on two occasions, and only succeeded when I attempted to upload a test batch. When I realized what was happening, I aborted the upload of the original batch (at 8 items) because I was preparing to travel prior to the close of that auction.

Whatever problems I may be having, have yet to be resolve. Only today I attempted to upload a batch of 49, chancing that there were no batches in queue from previous failed upload attempts. The results were the same. Both attempts to upload my batch today have failed. I created a test batch of one, and attempted to upload it, hoping that it would prompt the upload of the batch that immediately preceded it (as had been my previous experience). Even the test batch failed to upload.

Now what? I am beginning to seriously consider another service. This one is certainly not working for me. This problem has been with me for well over a month now. How am I to make money if I cannot get my auctions online? This has been an exercise in futility, and a waste of my precious time.

I need some serious help. Someone there must have the ablility to resolve this problem.

Well Callie,

AWPro does seem to work sometimes. After ten attempts in the last 20 minutes, my test batch of one did upload. Unfortunately it is too late for me to upload an auction that will close at a reasonable hour for east coast bidders, and too late to upload a ten day auction that will close during the week when most bidders may be at home and online. I will now need to wait for the weekiend before I can attempt another upload of the batch that I wish to auction at this time.

I went to my account and viewed the errored items that you referred to in your mail. They were from a previous auction, and except for three of the five that I could view, I was not aware that they had not uploaded.

Well I will try again this weekend, and see if the problem has corrected itself.

I must thank you for responding, even though none of this communication seems to resolve my problem.
