I have no real problems with AW - it has made my auctioneering a pleasure - but I have a couple of little things that bug me. The WBN is a problem for many of my customers. Either they can't read it ("it looks like a bunch of raw code" or they can't effectively use the link. As far as I can tell, only a very small percentage of buyers have used to form as it was intended. It just doesn't work well. I know that AOL users (and other unfortunates) can't receive the nicely formatted WBN, but it isn't just those folks who are having trouble. The WBN, if it worked consistently, would be a real time-saver, but I have to go through my winning bidders and send my own notification to everyone who received the non-HTML version, and then deal with the problem messages from buyers who tried to use it (either version) or who couldn't even read it.
And while I'm at it - I downloaded the Custom Templates and would like to use them, but there are no instructions and I don't know what to do!
Again, as I said above, I have no serious complaints about AW. AWPro is a winner, and the Image Hosting is virtually flawless!

I have the same problem with WBNs. Many customers can't read them, or they have massive problems with them and take it out on me. It seems some people lose the entire form if they try to use their space bar, or they fill out the form once and it comes back up needing to be filled out again. Also, the paypal link is so small many never see it. If the WBNs were a bit more customer friendly it would ease the sellers job.

Hi Denisv,
If you have any examples available where the winner has said they were unable to read the WBN, please let me know what they are so that we can take a look at them. Some winners choose not to fill out the WBN -- one thing you can do, is change the default text for it and try to persuade your winners to fill it out.
Regarding the custom templates, you will need to customize your themes online. You can do this through eBay site specifics or through the Create Listing page. Simply click on the Customize Template button, choose your image layout and your theme, then name and save the template. When you are in AMPro, all you will need to do is synchronize then quit and restart the program and your customized templates will show up.
Rpshaverpaonlinecom -- the problem regarding the space bar seems to exist if the winners are using Microsoft Outlook, and do not open up the email containing the WBN in a whole new window. I have tested this and the same thing has happened -- but when I opened it up in its own window I was able to successfully use the space bar and the tab key to move on to the next field.

Many of my customers complain of the same thing. I don't have the time to go back and tell you every single customer that tells me this. The WBN's are bad and have many defects. One thing is, for along time now alot of my auction titles come back in ### or computer language. It seems I'm doing more work now. It's so annoying to both me and my customers and I have no control over fixing things. Now their worse. The one problem was never fixed and now this problem is worse and totally unexceptable, my customers are not even receiving WBN's now!

I'm having the same problem now of customers not getting the WBN. In the past few days after I sent out payment reminders I received at least half a dozen emails saying they never received the information! That makes me look like an idiot and poor business person. I also agree that a good number of buyers can't even read the thing or access the link. Please try to fix these WBN problems soon, especially if you expect more money out of me.

The best part of AW is its click and upload image hosting and the image libriry with AMPro. To my knowledge, no other service offers such convenient service, let alone it is free for Power Plan users. AW can you keep the Power Plan or offer a "More Power Plan" instead charging a final value fee? This strategy may make your company prosper.
