There was a short outage at eBay and in seeing that announcement it appeared as though this error message would go away once they were back up. However users are still seeing their auctions come back in error, and engineering is working quickly to correct it.
There may have been an unannounced change to the ebay site, which we will need to adjust now for. As soon as we have more information available, we will post back to this thread.
Leave your auctions in your pending section for now, once we are back up and running you will be able to resubmit them at that time.
Or, upload them at a later time.
Actually, this error is now only on our end.
Your auctions will not launch without error until we are able to correct it. eBay made some unannounced changes today, and engineering is working quickly to adjust for it.
As soon as a fix is in place, we will update this thread.

I have been able to relist auctions but not to list new ones from Auction Manager Pro. Is this part of this internal processing error or something I have done. Frustrating to say the least. Thanks

I have over 100 auctions pending and have received numerous listing ERRORS. It has been two days since you raised your fees and NOW AuctionWatch has this problem? Seems VERY unfair. I hope you are working overtime to fix this problem.
Before you raised your fees because of "new software", why don't you fix the MAJOR bugs your still have with Auction Manager Pro? In the Batch menu, the dropdown shipping option menu NEVER defaults to $0.00 ("choose one" menu item). This simple error is extremely time consuming to work around when you are trying to post numerous auctions. Auction Manager "Pro" should also have a "Copy" function instead of a "drag & drop" to transfer multiple Inventory items to the Batch menu. The batch menu also lacks a column to select "launch times" individually. As a Seller, I should be able to transfer multiple, same, Inventory items to the Batch menu and then be able to select DIFFERENT launch times. To have to do this separately is VERY POOR software design.
Lastly, For the higher fees, how about a 1-800 Customer Service phone number?

You say leave them in pending for now with errors. When will be able to launch these auctions. How will we know? Are you going to send us emails?

Yes, I too, have 10 listings all with errors. A true bummer since I lauch at specific times and days. A bigger bummer since this is my sole means of income! I went onto the forum listed by the AW member, only to find no new messages ... I take it this means they have not fixed it Everything in life gets more expensive, however it would be nice if the increase meant better service ... not worse!

Rite On! I agree with you whitemesa! And I am in the same shoes. Right now ebay is it for me. And I list on specific days and at specific times. I hope this gets fixed before the evening is over...

Well,
Great going!! I just went into ebay to see if I had any bids on my items I had been listing all night, I was shocked to find NOTHING!!!!! showing!!!!! Went into pending auctions and of course they were all there with errors. All my hard work down the drain. I list on Sundays for 7 day auctions and on Tuesdays for 5 day auctions. You seem to be telling everyone that this is a problem that just started tonight BUT I had the same stinking problem on Sunday night(same error message) so what is that excuse!!! THIS IS NOTHING NEW!! NOW you have totally screwed up all my sales for the whole week. It is now 2 AM my time, do ya think anyone will still be awake to bid on my items if you should happen to get this little"bug" fixed. Ya know I am getting totally sick and tired of this. Every week, none of my auctions move from active to closed unless I physically go in and refresh in active and then bounce back to closed and refresh and back and forth till they all move. Buy it now never moves and half the time I can't even find where the auctions have gone because no amount of refreshing send them ANYWHERE so I have to manually send all those emails out, then about 4 or 5 days later I get emails from my buyers who have already paid questioning why I have sent them another email when they paid days ago and then I have to explain that I use Auction Watch to send WBNS and they system never works right (true) anyway, I think AW is more work then it is actually saving at this point. NOTHING WORKS. I have to get on this stupid message board every few days and try to get answers (most of which are never replied to (I have to email about 3 times on average till I get a reply) NOW I pay $200.00 a year for this service, or lack of. I think it is about time you make something work. Instead of cutting 1/2 your staff which has been reported all over the net, you should be hiring more. Or maybe just more intelligent people because evidentially whoever is running the show there, shouldn't be. You are running yourselves into the ground and taking US all with you. Wanna pay my bills next week??? Thought maybe that would be fair since because of AW my paycheck will be about half of normal. This isn't funny or acceptable anymore. I am not by any means getting what I signed up and paid for. Paid is key. I'm paid up, your not delivering. Breech of contract in my book!!

The SIX auctions I scheduled to relist last night went fine, but the TWENTY new auctions I had scheduled did not. Just tried to relaunch them and still getting processing error. This needs to be fixed now.
At 25-30 auctions a day, it doesn't take long for this to really back me up!!

Hi Gang,
Well after going through ALL of the pertinate posting on listing errors, AW says the problem is fixed ...NOT! I just tried listing an auction from my pending group, and it FAILED again. When is AW going to start working? I have 10+ listing to lauch for tonight, in addition to the 10 from last night, and another set for Thursday. Oh and of course my e-mail from last night was not returned yet AW throw us a bone ... we're dying here!

O.K. PLEASE HAVE THE COURTESY TO RESPOND TO COMMENTS. I GET THE FEELING THAT AW IS JUST ONE TEENAGE GUY SITTING IN HIS LIVING ROOM. WHERE IS THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I NEED TO GET AUCTIONS LISTED. IF THIS IS NOT FIXED SOON I WILL HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER SERVICE.

Since AW is completely silent about this, for those of you who can do this, here are my suggestions for a work-around. I simply could not wait any longer for AW to fix things, so handled it another way:
I simply listed my auctions through the regular eBay start auction page, with 2 windows open on my computer, one on eBay, other on Auction Manager, so I could simply "copy and paste" the auction titles & descriptions I had already written from those auctions stuck in Pending status.
Then once that was done, I went into Manage Images, and selected the photos I wanted to add to the eBay auctions, then did a copy and paste again on the AW URL provided & simply did an "Adding to Item" update on eBay.
So the 5 I had stuck are up and running, with large photos on 1st eBay page that you don't have to click on to enlarge.
This obviously will not be an ideal option for AW users. You don't get advance scheduling, or those fancy templates, but at least you get your auctions back in business!

25 auctions last night ERROR message, I have emailed twice, you could have least said you recieved the emails and will answer in 24 hours. I'm glad I finally when to this site to find out what has happen. Christopher thank you. How about getting ahead of Ebays next move , which could put you guys out of business. CHECKOUT in mid October. When do you expect to come on line again?

Oh yes I forgot, it would be a good idea obviously to delete your auctions from Pending, once you have launched them yourself on eBay.
Just my suggestion for a possible solution, I sure feel for all of you wondering about your income flow, times are tough enough now without such lack of communication from a service you depend on.

Thanks for that suggestion! I was on AW for an hour last night just trying to figure out what I did wrong! No one has answered my emails either. Maybe if everyone uses alternative measures to list auctions AW will see the light. They need to upgrade their own system to keep up with eBay BEFORE they have the nerve to raise fees! They should definitely rethink their timing on this one!

Hi, Upriver, where did you find URL for pictures hosted on AW unde Manage Images?

PyramidCamera & others:
To get a photo URL, you would go into your images file on AW, click the box beside the photo (in the Select column), then scroll to bottom of page & click on "Attach Image".
This will then give you a screen that shows the file you selected, with a "Continue" bar at bottom.
Click on that bar & you get a new screen, with a box in which there is an HTML listing (actually not just a URL, but all the information you need).
Copy that & paste it in the eBay adding to item window. You can find the adding to item link either on the eBay site menu page or by going here (sorry I still haven't bothered to learn how to make these things clickable):
