HI! Please help! I've noticed that for the last few weeks of uploading batches from inventory, that the actual item comes up before transferring to a batch and MAKES me select a shipping option #1 and shipping option #2. All my shipping details and cost vary per item and are listed in my descriptions, so I don't need nor want to reiterate it on a form. I've just been filling in 'choose one' and it lets me continue.

How can I avoid this? It doesn't seem to let me edit from the actual inventory item page? And some of the NEWER inventory items don't present this problem for me. Just most of the older ones.

Any ideas?
THANKS,
Jen

Hi Macojero,

If you want to use the Auto WBN you will need to insert a valid shipping option. There isn't a way around that. You should be able to insert a shipping option that reflects what you have entered into the description.

Hi Brian, thanks for the swift reply. No, I do NOT use the WBN option because I have too many variables with my winners and lots of multi-winners, so those really aren't a good tool for me. I do not have the WBN box checked off; it just defaults to pulling the item's full page up when I try to move it from inventory into a batch. I've tried going directly into inventory and seeing if there's anything I can check, or uncheck, to prevent this from happening but there doesn't seem to be anything to allow me to 'fix' this. Again, it happens on only SOME items, not ALL. In fact, on my inventory items, it doesn't even show a place for me to CHECK any WBN box, so I don't think that's quite my problem?

Any other ideas?

PS I have the latest version of Ampro, am on AOL, and Windows 98, if that's any help at all??

Hi Macojero,

Were these items created in your inventory, or were they ones you created while working on a batch and saved to inventory? At any point in time did you have the auto WBN feature selected in AMpro? When you create a listing, is the auto-WBN field checked off?

Hi again!

OK..

Were these items created in your inventory, or were they ones you created while working on a batch and saved to inventory? I created them all in inventory, then drag them over to a batch. Never had a problem until I updated to AmPro 3.5.

At any point in time did you have the auto WBN feature selected in AMpro? Nevah!

When you create a listing, is the auto-WBN field checked off? I have never checked it on.. all new listings I do from inventory do not have the problem. By 'new' listings, I guess I mean ones I've added since updating to Ampro 3.5. The ones I created under the older Ampro version are the ones that seem to keep popping up asking for this info no matter what.

Thanks!
Jen

Hi Jen,

If you go through the listings in inventory that are giving you this problem and change the preferences to what you want and resave, I don't think you will have this problem anymore. It seems like there was a difference in the settings in your old AMPro vs your new one, but this should fix it. If the problem persists, please let us know!
