When I click on the AMPRO icon on the desk top. The square with the men and the puzzle ball comes up but it never goes any further to the screen when I write up my auctions. I have beening using this for over a year and this is the first time this has happened.I do not know how to get to AMPRO I do not want to lose all of the batches I have already in AMPRO. How do I get into AMPRO to fix this. HELP.

Hi Smeyes,

Try to open up AMPro without any other programs running in the background. It could be that you don't have enough system resources available to get the program running completely. Let me know if this does not work.

I downloaded Auction Watch Pro again. Since I could not get the other to work. Now I have lost all of my batches. I cannot sign in with my email address (for the new program) since it is already in use by myself with the first Auction Watch Pro I was using.

Hello,

Try doing a search on your C drive for AMPRO.exe and see if it locates a copy in more than one location.

Also, click here and see if you find the names of all of your batches.

Let us know the results of your efforts.

Hi Smeyes,

Try doing a search for just 'ampro' and if that one comes up empty, download it again -- this time make note of the name and the location the program is downloading to so you know where to find it.

I did that. Now AMPRO will not take my existing name and email address for ebay.Which you need to complete the download of AMPRO. How do I fix this?

Hi Smeyes,

Do you get an error message and if so, what does it say?

I received this message in the final process of downloading a new AMPRO "the user ID you have provided is already stored in another Auction Watch.com account. Please introduce other user ID and try again.". I introduced [email protected] and was able to complete the download. My ebay name is "DECATUROAK" which I do not want to change. In AMPRO I opened "Auction Manger PRO Prefences" I try to change the User ID to "decaturoak" and after trying to synchronize I get this error message " The ebay information was NOT successfully synchronized to your Auction Watch Account & saved in your AM PRO prefences." If I go to "Universal Registration" (at the Auction Web site) click on "Store existing accounts" click on "edit"(for the ebay existing account) for ebay [email protected] (user name and email address) and change user ID to "Decaturoak" I get an error message " The user ID you have provided is already stored in another Auction Watch.com account. Please introduce other user ID and try again". I need to be able to use "decaturoak" as my User ID and "[email protected]" as my email address for my AMPRO program. I hope this all makes sense. Please HELP

Hi Smeyes,

I am confused now. Your AW account Smeyes has the eBay user ID '[email protected]' stored in it. The 'decaturoak' eBay ID is stored under a different account that isn't registered under your name.

I have always (since I opened my ebay account)used the name "decaturoak" on ebay and am still using it as of today.I only changed my AW to [email protected] to try and get back on AM PRO.I am sure I entered "decaturoak" when I registered for AMPRO how else would my auctions get to ebay. Decaturoak should be for Sally Meyers. I know that decaturoak is my ebay name. I guess that is all I know as of right now. What should I do next.

Hello,

I closed that other account that had this ID stored within, and updated yours to be correct again.

You should be able to list to this ID, and track your auctions correctly now.

Hello,

Chances are with the errors you ran into getting this setup, that your batches are long since gone.

Unless you installed the software to another directory from before, you will be unable to access those files anymore.
