using it sucessfully??

I cringe everytime I see a new revision, usually for no no reason. But anyway, how many upgraded and are using it, problem free. When was it first available?

Yes, I am an old stick in the mud, as I am still using NT 4.0, sp6b.

Thanks for your feedback.

I used 3.5 fine. 3.75 I cannot even download. It is a nightmare and I have gone back to using a very old version which is also a pain in the butt. I do hope AW get this sorted soon. Love to you all in the US from the UK!

3.75 works well for me. If you use it, be sure to set your basic Checkout data in eBay Site Specifics, and then when you do your offline work, click on the Checkout button to view your preferences, a drop-down will appear with all of the preset data, and if you need to change the data for one specific sale, modify in AMPro and save.

I am still using 2.75 with NO problems whatsoever. I'm sticking with that for the time being!

hey i updated 3.75 and my computer completely locks up now, you get on line and after the first site pops up and you try to go to a different window it locks everything up nice and tight, like to see some convicts get out of this lockdown. you gotta pull the plug, it rendered a other wise slightly older computer but good computer to a worthless pile of junk, However there has been some suggestions made to possibly remedy the problem and that will be tried next? stay tuned to as the computer lockdowns that never ending saga in cyber space.

Hi reliant,

It seems there is a problem with your Internet browser and I would suggest trying to update it.

If you are using Internet Explorer, please use the menu entry Tools > Windows Update.

Question to All that have upgraded to 3.75?

What New and IMPROVED feature does 3.75 have over 3.5, other than you can opt out of the Checkout feature on eBay? If that is the only change I'm going to stay with 3.5. It took me the better part of 3 days to get 3.5 to work. I'm guessing that 3.75 has a lot of the same problems 3.5 had ie: Font size, template problems etc.

Nanntique:
I'm using Netscape 4.7, AW 3.5 (still have 3.1 to use if all else fails)

Happy Holidays to ALL.

3.75 has support for ebay checkout. I have downloaded it and have been using it for a few days and no problems and am very thankful that the ebay checkout mess is handled. Until this fix was available I was re-editing every listing. I am running Internet Explorer 5.5.

OK, I bit the bullet, and after crossing myself several times, crossing fingers and toes, and praying that my #%^#$ dial-up service would not drop off-line during the download; I just upgraded to 3.75, and so far all looks OK. Just to baseline the situation, I have a 2x266PIII, 128 meg, running NT4.0 sp6a, with IE5.5. I would recommend, as with most downloads, you close out mail, and all other windows, as well as shut down ad and popup/popdown filters, and set your virus or firewall to allow AWupgrade to do it's thing. I have launched a sample auction, and openned back up all my other windows and services and (-;. HAPPY HOLIDAYS

I bit the bullet and did the upgrade. All is well. I'm already preparing new auctions after avoiding eBay for a month.

However, I reserve the right to complain at later date and time.

Heck, to me the upgrade looks okay so far. As always, your mileage may vary (ymmv).

I'm not the brave sort. After the disaster of 3.5, I will stick with 3.1 forever. Of course, with the new pricing, I'm not using AW at all right now, so it's moot.

I upgraded from 2.75 to 3.5 with no problems.

I was sticking with 2.75 because I couldn't see all of the title description. But now there is a floating/pop-up explanation bar thingy which shows the whole title which helps a lot.

Then I automatically upgraded to the 3.75 because of the checkout disaster. I LUV it and I like the fact that I don't have to fill out the shipping now if I don't want to....I have Windows ME and a DSL connection....arden
9:24 pm same day:
I have to take that back. I have 18 auctions stuck in processing right now. Been there for 2 hours....is it 3.75????

Hi Arden,

There was an outage last night that caused them to be stuck in processing, but everything is now up and running so you should be able to resubmit them.

Well I had problems downloading the new templates from version 3.75--they just got jammed up and would not come through. I have a speedy satellite connection and the problem is not with my computer. I double checked it by switching to a 56K land line/modem connection--the same thing happened. I deleted 3.75 and re installed an older copy of 3.1, and my Ampro synched perfectly, very fast and uploaded my new images, etc. with NO problem. Every time there is an upgrade the whole thing gets bogged down. Glad I keep an extra copy of 3.1 around to get me through this! I'm sure AW will get the details ironed out eventually!

I tried upgrading from 3.5 to 3.75 and got stuck in downloading the upgrade three times. Gave up and went to AW website and downloaded just fine. I don't see any big differences and was enticed by the idea of having bugs fixed - particularly the one that hangs/freezes AM Pro until when nothing else is going on...come to think of it, I haven't seen that with 3.75. Maybe it's better.
