I got AWMgrPro and after posting 11 auctions via sync, discovered that four of them were in the wrong category. Went onto ebay and tried to revise them as usual. Everything looked good, made the change in the Revise your Item Form, click on 'continue' and I either got 'This Page Cannot Be Displayed' or 'Input Error' (i.e., We did not successfully receive all the required information from the page. Please go back and ensure that all fields are filled in). Tried repeatidly, same result.

Ebay claims there are no problems on their end. I tried to modify four different auctions...all with the same result. I ended up having to cancel them and relist them via AW. Now I have twice the cost both from ebay (they are now being seen as NEW auctions) and AW. Not quite fair.

Anyone else having this problem?

Debbie

This is an altogether too common problem; most attribute it to the way that Internet Explorer renders the HTML.

Here are two proposed solutions:

1. Wait (for several minutes) after your page loads before you make any changes. Then wait again (for several minutes) after you click "continue".

Some folks say this really does work.

2. Go to www.opera.com and download the light-weight browser. It has NEVER failed to load the file and to redisplay the data immediately.

Another alternative is to use Netscape.

If you have any questions about Opera, you can send me an e-mail: [email protected].

Hi Debbie,

In addition to Kahml's suggestions, I would like to add one more:

- Be sure that if you have html entered in your description field or default text it is entered correctly, with no missing "tags" and with no javascript.

Debbie,
Ditto on the first response above. The best way I have found around this is to wait at least 2 minutes on the first page - then make your changes and hit submit. On the next page (the verification page), I have found that you don't have to wait - it will show you "page cannot be displayed", but it still lists the auction. Some people have to wait 2 minutes on each page, so you will just have to try it out.
