I don't work from Inventory as most do, I suppose. I work from batches. An individual batch for each item. 150 items I run twice a week. It seems the only thing I can affect from a batch to the inventory of that item is the storefront price and number of items available to storefront. But if I make a change in description, inventory won't know it. (That's an assumption.)
Anyway, if I switch to BE, I suppose there is no neat way to transfer the data from the batches to the new inventory set-up. (Please tell me I'm wrong.)
So let's say I cut and paste my way and get all the auctions in place. Is there any way then, for the future, to batch change descriptions, prices, number of auction days, etc.
I know you hate to answer two questions from the same e-mail but.... you have a good system. Technical glitches, so what. It is pretty well thought out. There is, however, a black hole in the system. And that is labeling. By far, addressing the packages take the most time. I can get the customer to fillout his name and address on the WBN return.
Why can't I have the opportunity to batch export 150 addresses to a Avery Label Program, or whatever company. Or have that option internally. That way, AW makes everything easy from the composition of the auction to putting the winning result into the mail. If you did that, I would save 16 hours a week. It is what keeps me from going to 300 auctions. Heck, I've got 2700 titles I could put up. But I can't address that many labels. Cut, paste, cut, paste, aghhhhhhh

Hi Forceten32,
The current SMBE version will allow you to import AMPro batches directly.
Please check the menu entry Tools > Import > Inventory.
And yes, you can batch change prices, number of auction days, etc. Not really descriptions, unless all your items need to have the same description.
