I downloaded Auction Manager Pro today and installed it. When I try to open it I get the error message "Runtime Error 429" Active X control, unable to create object" Can you tell me what this is and how to fix it?

Hi dannajoh,
According to the engineers who are most familiar with Auction Manager Pro, the best way to resolve this would be to uninstall the current version of AM Pro that is on your system and reinstall it again.
You may use the Add/Remove Programs Wizard in Windows to uninstall the program. You do not need to worry about saving your batches and images as these will be retained, however, you may want to copy the batch and images folders to a separate location on your hard drive "just in case".
Once you have uninstalled AM Pro, you will need to reinstall it. You may use the install kit that you used before if it is still on your system, otherwise, you will need to download the install kit again (please be sure to select "save to disk" when downloading.) Before you begin the install process, please be sure to close any open applications you might have installed on your system.
Once you have reinstalled the program, you will be prompted to restart Windows. After you complete these steps, you should be able to run Auction Manager Pro without error. If you are still experiencing problems after uninstalling/reinstalling the program, please let us know.

Okay, thanks for the responses. I'm going to try it later today when I have the time. I'll report back on what happens.
