We're back to experiencing daily glitches with AW. Today, I've had 2 auctions disappear into limbo. Not in active, not in closed, no WBN. Both closed normally, not as Buy it Nows. One is 1500300965, and the other is 1500300235. Where in Gods name are they? Both were launched with AMPro. Checked to see if they weren't being tracked, "no untracked auctions found."

Additionally, 30 auctions did not launch Sunday night. You've already apologized for messing up my schedule - how about a listing refund? And why wasn't there a post about the "launching latency?"

I also have had one auction a day that isn't being tracked and I have to import it later. However, they've been launched with AMPro. How do they end up not being tracked?

Why have these 3 things happened? I would appreciate some answers for these costly and time consuming inconveniences.

Hi Rpshaverpaonlinecom,

Were these two missing auctions in your active auctions list to begin with, or were they never there? I will need to look into this a little further so any additional information would be great.

I don't know for sure, as I have about 150 auctions going at all times, as well as a full storefront on Ebay. However, how could they not be? I listed them with AmPro.

Please let me know.

Hi there,

I have located both of the auctions you have listed - they are both on page 4 of your closed listings.

eBay has recently added the ability to revise an auction and remove the reserve price. We are in the process of updating our system to accommodate this change, but it is quite complex and it does require a bit of code revisions and testing. It appears that your WBNs were not sent because our system did not detect that these closed with a high bidder, as they were initially launched with a reserve price. There is unfortunately no known workaround for this, but it is a top-priority item for us and we expect to have this resolved shortly.

With regard to the latency Sunday evening, you are welcome to request a refund for those listings that did not launch. You may do this by using our refund request form, located here:

https://secure.auctionwatch.com/my/acct/request_refund.html

We did post an announcement regarding the latency, which was updated progressively during the evening. Announcements are viewable via the Announcements link on the bottom of the page, the Announcements message center forum, the Customer Service tab, and we have also put an alert system on the Auction Manager page.

As for the auctions that are not being tracked, can you give us an example of one of these? We would have to look into this, it could be somehow related to the API interface.

Thanks,

Diana

The auctions you've located on page 4 closed are completely, totally screwed up. They closed last night so why they are on page 4 makes no sense.. Both of them were relisted and closed with a winning bid last night, which is why I am frantically looking for WBNs for both of them. Additionally, they were never launched with a reserve price - you are completely wrong on that one. We do list a Buy It Now cost, but never a reserve. Neither of them has Post sale keys, so I'm not going to get a WBN.

I don't know what's going on - one problem after another and you fail to address them.

How am I going to get my customers the WBNs for these 2 auctions? I'm paying a fortune for this aggravation...

Hi again,

I apologize! When you said both auctions had been launched with AM Pro, I assumed they were not relists. If they were not initially listed with a reserve price, I do not know why they would be appearing on page 4 of your list. I'll have to have an engineer look into this, and I'll post back when I have more information.

Sorry about that!

Diana

Hi - I have checked with engineering, and it appears that your auctions are now indexed correctly in your account and WBNs have been sent. We are almost positive that this is related to the known problem posted in Announcements in which some active auctions are appearing erroneously in closed.

If this happens in the future, please try clicking the check-boxes next to the auctions then the refresh button - this will force the system to go out and recollect the closing data. I know that this is not the ideal solution, but it is an effective workaround while we continue to work to resolve this issue.

Thanks,

Diana
