I would like to create some auctions from my daughter's computer - upload them - then edit them when I get back home. Is this possible? I'm really new with AW!!

You can, yes, but there are a few steps involved. First, before you upload your items make sure you schedule them far enough in advance that they will not list before you get to come back and edit them.
Second, once they have all been uploaded to list at a future time/date you will need to go to the pending section of the Auction Manager, click on the left to view only your pending items first - then select all and unschedule the launch of them.
At this point you will have all of those items you uploaded from your daughters house, in the pending section of your Auction Manager where you can continue to edit/launch as needed.
