I've returned to AW after almost a year's absence. I'm using version 3.75 and everything has been going very well. Thank you!

Here's my problem today, though. I like to print my invoice/packing slip before I receive payment so I can get the package ready to go pending receipt of payment. However, every time I try to print an invoice/packing slip, it shows that I have done it but nothing prints. My printer is working fine so that's not the problem. Any ideas as to why this is happening? I had never had to wait for payment before, is this something new, that I can't print an invoice/packing slip until payment has actually been received?

Your help is appreciated.

Hi JandJAuctions,

You can print the packing slip at anytime, however it is better to print it after you have gotten a response back from the buyer (step 2 will be highlighted). Then, it will print out with their address plus the shipping.

Hello Sonya,

Thank you for your response. I am trying to print invoices/packing slips for the folks who have responded but I am having no luck.

I read this on the Help FAQs:
Click on 'Items to Ship' category. Select auctions, then click on Print Invoice action key above. This will take you to the invoice/packing slip page. From drop-down box, select invoices, packing slips or both. Make sure that shipping cost information has been updated in the WBN before invoices are printed.

When I click on "Items to Ship"... I am told that there are no listings for that category, although I have about a dozen items that have sold and for which I've received responses.

My guess is that's where my problem is... somehow my items are not getting into the "to be shipped" place so no invoice can be printed?

Please help!

Thanks, Judy in CA

You don't have to get all the way to ITEMS TO SHIP, it will print before that. But you do have to have the payment method you expect, the cost and shipping, and the full address. Once that's entered you can print it out. I print mine out before I receive all the time....just as soon as I get the address and how the money's coming.

Good Luck,
Joette

Hi all,

I have a question along this same line. Can I input my winners' shipping and payment information? This happens when the winner goes through eBay checkout or pays instantly with paypal instead of responding to my auctionwatch WBN. I certainly don't want to make them jump through hoops, especially if they're already paid, but I would like the shipping and payment info in the auctionwatch database for my convenience.

If this question is answered in the FAQ, sorry, but I searched and can't find it.

Thanks to all

Raquel

Hi JandJauctions,

Make sure you have step 3 checked off (the payment received step) and you should be able to proceed on to Items to Ship. If you still get confused, you can also print from the PSM keys.

Hi Ashtonne,

If you have the information already you can enter it in yourself -- basically, filling out the WBN for the winner. Once you have that information in you can print out the packing slip for the item.
