When you go to copy images over, drag them over till they highlight the images folder and not directly into the images folder (IE: with the folder actually open.)
Perhaps when you go to paste all of those images into the images folder, your system is trying to replace them rather than simply add the new ones.
So where do you stand now, did this already happen, IE: do you only have the new images in Pro now, meaning the ones you just downloaded are gone again?
If so, it will be back to the same square we were at before. Delete everything from the images folder again, and synch.
Once this has completed, run a test. Manually move over just one image, directly to the folder and not with the folder actually open, then see if you can synch without error. This way if you suddenly cannot, you will know moving the images over manually just will not work on your setup. If you can, and you had been pasting them over the existing ones, you will know you can add them manually this way but only when you do so with the images folder closed.
It worked - but now my ENTIRE inventory (over 1000 different items ) is missing pictures!! I might have a backup disk (although not very recent) of all my inventory. If I load (copy) the old stuff, will it restore my inventory with the pictures???

Hi agreatkatch,
So your inventory in AMPro is missing pictures? I noticed that your online inventory has the images appearing properly. Are these 1000+ inventory items offline with Images that have not been uploaded yet?

Hi Agreatkatch,
When was the last time that you viewed these images that were stored on those inventory items? If the images that were in those inventory items were not viewed within the 90 day timeframe in reference to our image deletion policy, then they would have been deleted online. So when you synchronized, they were removed from AMPro as well.
You state that you have a backup a couple posts up, does your backup contain those images? If so you can load the images back into your account and synchronize.
