AM Pro gets a "Synchronization failed - General server error

There is a problem with starting the AuctionSync process.

Please check the Announcements page on the AuctionWatch site."

Well, there is nothing on the announcement page and I've been trying all morning to upload. Can't synch the damned thing.

Hi Terrydarc,

Try quitting AMpro, opening it again and starting to synchronize. Make sure you have nothing else open in the background. Let me know if you get the same error.

Just quitting and restarting AMPro did not help. I'll try shutting my computer down and restarting.

Hi Terry,

Please make sure that you have proper proxy settings in AMPro.

Proxy settings? I haven't changed a thing but I've cold started my machine and is STILL doesn't work. Same error message.

OK,
I've downloaded a copy of AW 3.75 build 904 and it STILL DOESN'T WORK!! Can you please help?

I started a new batch with a test upload. Nothing. The little gauges on time left, process don't show anything. I'm dead in the water here. HELP!

I'm not with AW, but the "proxy settings" seems to be a big deal these days.

Open AMPro, Select Edit, Preferences, Connection.

Please make sure that the check box is NOT selected.

If it is (for whatever reason), uncheck it and save the settings.

Then, without any batches, try to synch.

If this still doesn't work, the question then becomes: what network or internet settings have you changed since the last time AMPro worked for you?
