I've noticed a "phenomenon" which is not quite a problem.
My normal status: I usually have only two auctions running at a time, both on eBay.
(My system is WinME and I switch between Netscape 6.2.1 and a nightly release of Mozilla, somewhere around 0.9.9+, Mozilla being my usual browser.)
On occasion, I will visit eBay directly to check on feedback, etc.
A few times, of late, while at eBay I, of course, noticed the number of bids on my two items.
When I immediately logged into AuctionWatch to view my Auction Manager, I noticed that my numbers of bids did not match what I had just seen on eBay.
However, when I clicked my REFRESH button, the numbers were updated properly.
I believe I have also seen the number of hits be updated upon the first REFRESH, and the number of bids updated upon a second REFRESH. (I have seen this less often.)
Is this what AW designers have intended? I understand also that certain features can be just too complicated to program, especially since the "fix" is not really for a "problem."
Or perhaps no one else has seen this...
Am curious about AW's take on this. (Did not find the topic in FAQs or earlier messages.)
The control panel will update on its own usually, but occasionally you will need to force the update by selecting your items and hitting the Refresh button.
