In our continuing effort to improve the new Combined Shipping/Orders features of AuctionWatch Post-Sale Management, we have released a number of enhancements and bug fixes. Many of these changes are a direct result of suggestions from AuctionWatch users, and we sincerely value your feedback. We also appreciate your patience as we work through remaining issues. Changes in the past week include:
** Fulfillment checklist **
- Added direct link to "buyer checkout" process
- Added display of winner's venue ID (eBay, etc.) next to e-mail address
** Shipping **
- Dutch shipping calculation offered as "single item" OR multiplied by win quantity, based on seller preference. By default, shipping will be multiplied by the number of Dutch auctions. You can change this setting at My Account, Global Preferences, in the ‘Shipping and Insurance’ section.
** Shopping cart/storefront **
- Clearer wording added to checkout process regarding payments and process flow. This wording makes it clear to buyers that they are not executing an electronic payment by completing the checkout form.
- Number of days within which auction wins are eligible for automatic combination is now a seller preference (default: 30 days)
** Packing slips/Invoices **
- Mailing label area font sizes are now adjustable
- Print formatting issues resolved
- Multiple credits are individually listed on packing slip/invoice
- Javascript issues resolved
- Note: we are aware of some additional formatting issues related to addresses printing properly on labels. We expect to have a fix released within a few days.
** Miscellaneous **
- Relisting of auction items within orders can now be performed without breaking the order apart first
- Post-Sale Express 'search' now returns all results, even if matches are within orders
- Numerous small fixes and wording changes
We hope these changes help you find even greater value in the new Post-Sale features, and we have more requested enhancements on the way, including:
- More flexible shipping options for manually-combined orders (direct editing of shipping methods and pricing after combination)
- More automatic shipping discount options
- More insurance options
