Hello,

You can install Pro on another machine, and move data over to it so you do not lose any of your saved batches, inventory, or images.

You will want to save a copy of the 'batches' folder, 'images' folder, and save a backup of the 'inv.dat' file located within the 'data' folder.

All of these files and folders are found within the Program Files folder on your C drive.

After you install the new copy on your other machine, simply replace the new files with the copies of the files/folders mentioned above.

Hello mysal,

Yes, you will have the exact same username and password that you are using now.

christopher,

i tried installing pro on my other computer, but it won't allow me to use the same id and password because they are already taken. do i use a new one and then can i change it afterward? is there a way i can install it without going through the registration process?

Hello,

It sounds like you are going through the promprs to setup a new user account, and not the 'existing user' option. Start over, and look for the option to indicate you have an account, versus setting one up anew.
