Began using a new computer and cannot syncronize. Get the following message: Syncronization failed-General server error. We ccould not find an internet connection. Check your internet connection and try again". The connection is working fine. What could the problem be?

I'm not with AW tech support, but this has usually worked in the past.

Launch AMPro

Select Edit, Preferences, Connection

Make certain that the box "Connect using Proxy" is not checked.

If it is, remove it, click OK, then try to synch - without any batches!

If it is not, you're just going to have to wait for AW techs...

I don't know if this q&a is in the AMPro FAQ, but if it is not, could you >>please<< add it?

Hi Kahml,

There is a section on Proxy Servers in the FAQ but I will see about getting this information added there, should other people get stumped on the same problem.
