Hi,

What happened to all of the previously closed listings? I previously had over 2000+ closed lisings. I sometimes would go back and relist some of the closed items and use the text/description. I only see 584 closed listings showing on my acct and it only goes back to 3/28.
How often will you delet them? How long will you keep the closed auctions?

Thanks
catz

Hello catz,

As per the Announcements, we started to automatically archive closed auctions older than 12 weeks. You can change the amount of time at which it archives the information or turn it off via the My Account tab, under the Global Information link within.

Please let us know if you run into any other questions along the way.

Hi Lorndav,

The archived files you download can be opened with Excel. Do you have that on your computer?

No,I do not have excel. Is that the only way they can be opened? If so, it might have been nice to tell people. I really do not want to pay for a program just to get my information.

Hi Lorndav,

The archive file is simple text, in a comma-separated values format. You can open it with any text editor, even with Notepad.

Excel has the added advantage of presenting the data in an easy to read layout. Other programs will import comma-separated values, too, for instance Microsoft Access; but again, a simple text editor works as well.
