Does anyone have a success story. I had no problems with 4.0 and read with horror the destruction some had when updating to it. Has anyone done 4.2 and it worked perfectly? Need courage here. Thanks

OK: went to this site:
http://www.auctionwatch.com/my/client/
and downloaded the update. Now all my batchs and images are gone. So went over and found all of my images and current batches and moved them into the 4.2 batch and image file. Now I am locked into an "initializing images" that has been going on for about 15 mins. Suggestions? Thanks, baylor
You have quite a lot of images -- are you on dialup or a high speed connection? I would recommend waiting for it to finish as stopping an operation while it is in progress might not be a good idea.

High speed. Unfortunately the "Initializing Images" won't complete...it keeps crashing. So, I have uninstalled AW4.2 and reinstalled. And instead of moving the images, I am letting them sync...for 2 hours. We see if that helps.

Hi. I posted here last night, because I was unable to download the new version successfully. So then I was told to "download the whole kit," not just the update. I did that, and a popup box told me things were missing. So I did it again, and told it to save to my existing AuctionWatch folder. Hah! That wiped out my Version 4, and the new version had again failed to load completely. So I was completely blown out of the water, as far as AMPro went. Thank God for Roxio's GoBack software!! I reverted my hard drive, so now I again have Version 4. But c'mon, guys. What goes on here?? Marshall

OK...Everything is now working fine. All images are initialized and all seems well. Thanks for the help and handholding.
