Well, fought through the download, upgrades, and dual user installations; with your help. Everything was working fine, launched test auctions from both and were working OK.
BUT NOW, the next day, PC on all the time, when I click on either icon to start SMPro, I get the same error message -
Please install again the same SMPro version to the same locations on your hard drive. It's possible that the error you now get (which is an installation errro) is fallout from the failed upgrades, which only showed after restarting your computer.

Reinstalled, and both user programs now working. Also went in and deleting all extraneous AW files that were created during multiple download and install tries, so hopefully my PC won't get 'confused' any more.
